Status update Episode 10

now enjoy the show.... excuse my language but what can i say i'm realistic and not classy.... i don't need to be... this is the real world. so please be real.

Man.... anyway here's what I think. DPC in fact has a roadmap laid out in plain sense.... he also quite literally tells you what you will get if you pay him this amount... he kindly asks you to invest in him he has not signed a contract with you... you are not a shareholder... it is his game... he is the CEO he is the alpha and omega.... he is the creator.... IF you are supporting him he clearly tells you what you will get for each level of support he gets, to keep doing what he is doing.... he could say nothing.... and release his game on his own time... and have those levels....

It's hard for him to give a exact time or even a time frame. He's a solo dev which slows down progress but it insures the game stays true to what he has envisioned and also everything is of high quality. He doesn't like to give a real time frame, probably to avoid getting peoples hopes up only to not be able to deliver. But also personal life, getting sick, installing to new pc upgrades, or worse pcs die etc. But he also just did upgrades which double his render speed so I think one thing is he always wants to make sure the pcs have a que big enough to keep them busy while he does writing code and what not. One thing have to just accept with the Doc is he keeps ya in the loop every week, and soon as he has a definitive time for a release he lets us know few weeks in advance. The wait sucks, but he has yet to disappoint, so just hang in there and be patient with him.

New here so sorry if this comes across wrong but... I was checking the previous status updates but its not clear to me where the dev is in his development roadmap exactly. The only clue I had was in the status update in the beginning of this month but those numbers should be taken with a grain of salt according to the dev himself. So is there anybody that can tell me how far of we are from release? Because based on this month status updates it sounds to me it could take about at least 2-3 months more(?)

I saw that big ol review/rant and not to be insulting, but it made me rather concerned for that persons mental state. Maybe even a lil worried for Dr. Pinkcake's safety. (I never wish to make a person feel less than or attacked but it was very unsettling to read and I certainly wish he/she the clairity to have realized whats important in life since that post) :( Jill wearing a banana costume just illustrates that she's kind of a dork imo and that isnt the end of the world. When she ditches the costume.... she's an incredibly hot dork, which is the best kind. haha

I say let the long-ass nonsense review go write his own story and make his own game the way he wants if thinks can do better. There is nothing at all wrong with season 3 at all. If it don't make sense why the characters did what they did, said what they said, acted out the way they did. Or why any of this mattered or happened in the first place, then maybe you should go and play the first 2 seasons again. Cause you clearly didn't pay any attention to the story or its characters.

Doc... I hope you don't listen to a word of that long-ass nonsense review. Take it from an Emmy-winning screenwriter and professional crime writer (me)... Episode 9 is a banger and a masterclass in storytelling. Keep up the excellent work. Can't wait for episode 10.
