Status update Episode 9 + Survey
I spent last weekend continuing to write, but I have been working on art since Monday.
For the last two weeks, things have been running smoothly without any speedbumps when it comes to hardware/software issues.
I've only been focusing on producing static renders, and it is so much fun seeing ideas that became writing come to life with the art.
My strategy is to work on a scene-to-scene basis, trying to complete full scenes before moving on.
I will continue working on art for quite some time now and most likely prepare new animations next week to further build up the render queue that is finally depleting (9 animations are left in the queue).
Survey
I am struggling a bit with selecting previews for this episode because it's centered around Halloween, and there are possible spoilers when it comes to Halloween costumes. So, I wanted to post a survey and check what you all think about this.
Are you ok with costume spoilers? Would you rather not see any of it until the release, etc.? Please, help me understand what most of you are interested in, to plan further previews for episode 9.
Explanation of the options (if you need it).
Costume spoilers = Previews that might spoil what a character wears for Halloween
Special renders = The art in the Rewards app, unlocked by finding magazines, etc.
Custom renders = The art in the Mixed category of the Rewards app, unlocked by completing Pack Quest
Main characters = Your playable character, Josy, Maya, Isabella, Jill, and Sage
Side characters = All other characters than the above
Environment = Previews that show off rooms and scenery used in the episode
Lewd scenes = Sexy/NSFW pictures
Story scenes = Pictures teasing events that might happen in the episode

No matter how this vote ends i would appreciate it that players that don't wanted to see spoilers,can avoid that.

same, there is no fun in seeing ingame material before playing

You.. do understand what a preview means, right? Something tells me that copy/pasting an image or two is not gonna affect the game development.
Oh come on guys, what's the harm in seeing the costime spoilers? Pretty sure the previews selected won't be spoiling the story in any way :)

Hey DPC, some renders of Ellie would be nice. I realize she's just a Swyper girl, but I'm sure you could have a lot of fun with that.

There is no I don't care about any of this, I'm just waiting for the next episode. I'm not hanging on special renders, custom renders, whatever. I barely read those posts.

THIS IS HALLOWEEN! Can't wait for Halloween and fairly sure Sage is the girl for me. Just went out and got some Jack and Coke after work.

I think Nordwolf sums it up nicely. I would only add that you keep your finger on the pulse on how you want your work to be consumed. But I don't get the sense that's a problem for you. So.... I guess I take it back. I second Nordwolf, no additions.
Hmmm, difficult. I made some choices in the poll, but I am not sure, if the poll will help you in the end. Seeing the answers and comments until now, it shows you have a very differentiated fan audience here. It will be impossible to make it right for everybody. So I go with the comments encouriging you to show us what you like to. This will be the best. One or two pictures will never spoil enough to ruin the experience of a complete episode.

TBH, I’d rather avoid too many spoilers. Status updates are fine. That comic book special was dope.
Show what you wanna show. yeah we all have our preference but its your car. We're just along for the ride. lol But yeah if you have a sexy jill costume preview... *wink, wink* lol

A good mix of everything is my choice. Mixing up what is presented in previews is a great way to see how BaDIK is being developed step by step without giving too much "spoiler" detail and automatically creates a craving for the audience wanting more.
I would prefer seeing side characters, so there is no main char spoilers.
As few previews and spoilers as possible to be honest.
I'm perfectly happy to not see any previews at all because I trust you completely and know that it will be worth waiting for. That said, I don't mind scene previews because I certainly won't remember it.
I would rather not see to many spoilers. I came to this late in the game and although heard it was a good story was completely taken aback by how good it was over the two seasons. Not only with the number of interwinding story branches (even including being rejected twice for final relationships and single at the end) I wouldn't want my over anticipation spoilt. Honestly I am surprised how you keep track of all the possible story routes and how you will keep it up in the next chapter.
I trust in your choices of any kind to the game, so I prefer to see all content directly on the episode released

I do not want to see spoilers as a preview. This community waits a long time in between episodes and every part of the story should be surprise/revelation. Specialtenders are fine with me though as they lend no context to the story.
If you do end up posting the special renders, can you please add them as an attachment, instead of as an inline image? That way we can choose to see them or not. To me, part of the enjoyment of collecting these special items is to see them for the first time.
I showed up for the lewd scenes but stuck around for the awesome story. Even if you put spoiler tags, I won't be able to resist looking, even though I am already anxious for the next episode. I really enjoy the dialogue and story most, so seeing spoilers won't bother me. I admit I have a list of questions written down about the story that I want to know the answers to, just to know what to watch out for in the upcoming episodes!

My perspective is both similar and different to the other comments here. I don't mind being spoiled, or I can wait, the biggest difference is knowing I'm going to play and see it anyways eventually :D
I don't really mind to be spoiled some little things in previews, but I would prefer that the costumes of the main girls aren't spoiled, that would be a better surprise. With side characters, it's okay, but imo you shouldn't spoil all of them, maybe hand pick some you want to show, but we need to be surprised, like in all previous episodes for me ;)
I try to avoid previews as much as possible so i guess im not the target audience for this poll xD. I just want to vote on stuff and wait for the next episode ^^.
I guess I am the present at Christmas kind of guy. I can wait. It makes it worth it in the end. But I don't mind seeing the side characters.
With SIDE characters i would see all the spoilers, with Main Characters if you can put a SPOILER ALERT first.
I generally don't mind being spoiled when it comes to renders since there's no context to them. I guess I'd prefer to see side character costumes more than a main girl's costume, but this is just personal preference. I'm cool with getting any render.
I'm fine with seeing whatever you want to show. My definition of spoilers != yours, we have no context behind the picture. I'm just happy to see anything. It's all exciting teases to me.
Honestly. I never think of spoilers since I do not even know their context. So I am fine either way
As long as we don't see everyone's costume or "the best" costume I have no problem with that being spoiled
