Status update Episode 9
This week I wrote dialogue, planned more of what I needed to write, and coded almost every day.
I got into a good flow and managed to create a lot of content for the episode.
I wrote entire scenes and the shell of other scenes that I will continue working on.
Looking only at the amount of code written so far (scenes, free roam, branches, etc.) and comparing it to Episode 8, the longest episode in the game, I'm at 54% completion of dialogue if I was aiming to match episode 8 size.
We'll see where we end up in terms of size.
Next week will be a mix of posing animations and writing. I feel I want to continue writing before I work on static renders to be sure of how much I'm putting in the episode.
All PCs are rendering at full speed throughout all of this. 70 animations are completed so far.

I am soo ready for episode 9
How does the Interlude impact ep 9? Do I have to play through the Interlude with all my saves from ep 8, or is it completely voluntearly?
seems pretty voluntary, It does give some good back story but from what I played it won't effect your save. Still worth a run threw imo tho.
As impatient as I may be and I assume others are at least we know the wait is well worth all the effort you put in so keep up the good work doc

Okay so i reinstalled the game made it to where you update the board second to last time with Rusty. And a few lines of text the game crashes exact same spot twice now. I saved just after i updated the mini game. Not using any mods.
did you remove everything? Saves in ./PATHTOGAME/Being a DIK/game/saves and ./Users/USERDIR/Appdata/Roaming/Renpy, and entire game directory?

Hey DrPinkCake. I managed to save up 80$ on the mansion in the mini game. But however this is the third time i went to episode 8. All goes good at first and then when Bella is in the Library with her Husband the game crashes every time.
Don't use mods.
