Status update Episode 9
This week I wrote more dialogue, worked on plenty of animations, performed computer maintenance, and more.
I've had some annoying PC malfunctions lately. Two of my rigs broke, and I had to replace them with new workstations, and so I have.
Everything is up and running as usual, but it did take some time to synchronize everything and start fresh with the new PCs.
The PCs that broke were a bit over 3 and 5 years old, and the way I've been using them, it's about time they threw in the towel. Thanks for your service and the tens of thousands of renders you made!
Hopefully, these new PCs will last at least three years without problems.
Speaking of time, next Tuesday, it's been four years since my Patreon page saw the light of day. I have a special Acting Lessons post and some art prepared for all patrons to see to celebrate the occasion.
I started and finished the Special Render series for Josy that you voted for in the poll a few weeks ago.
Since I haven't worked on Josy like this since Episode 1, I've enjoyed making it a lot, and I pulled all stops for her series.
I don't want to hype the render set too much, but I would probably place the set itself in my top 3 sets of all time so far. I'm very happy about the quality.
Her set will have 20 special renders in episode 9, and its theme will be clubbing.
I'll post a preview of it this weekend, and I made an effort to make the special renders with 4k quality for Patreon.
Poll news
Last week's poll was very close. The different tiered polls had three different girls in the first place: Nicole, Riona, and Lily.
After counting the votes from all tiers, the winning combination was:
Riona
Clothing: Lingerie + Nude
2D animation: Vaginal sex
I'll order a 2D wallpaper of Riona with Lingerie + Nude combinations and a 2D animation with vaginal sex for episode 9.
Thanks for voting!
Have a nice weekend

Okay, after seeing the first new Josy render, I completely understand why your computers melted down, DPC.
Honestly, I don't get connected to the 2D art. OK, I understand that it makes sense for Jacobs drawings. But what else? For me it feels a bit "out of the game". Also for the phone background, a "normal" picture would make more sense. Maybe a photograph that MC could have taken of the girls. And the purpose of the 2D animation I don't understand at all. Maybe I am the only one thinking like that... but that's just my two cents.
Not everyone is a collector. But I’ve played through the game several times to collect everything. But I still can’t get that last pic of Rio. I swear I would tear down that basketball hoop and light it on fire, if it were real.
IF you want the PCs to last longer and you are running them hard make sure you give them a good cleaning and that you change the thermal paste at least annually.
DPC used to work in the IT industry. He knows what he is doing.
Cant wait for those Josy special renders, something special about her being the first girl and all for the game.
So, it sounds like the PCs had meltdowns while doing the Josy renders. Understandable.
Haha yeah, that’s pretty relatable 😍
Yeah! Riona, for the win!!
Just curious when you say the PCs died, was it primarily the GPU? I'm wondering if it necessitated a full PC rebuild (as opposed to swapping out failed/failing hardware, for example)
hopefully with some new pc's, thatll speed up render times and the more technical stuff
wait i thought nicole won on the poll?? or was there higher tier polls too?
"The different tiered polls had three different girls in the first place: Nicole, Riona, and Lily."
More Rio in any form is always good.
So excited for episode 9. Is there any chance at Quinn becoming an actual option?
J O S Y ❤️❤️❤️
noooooo Lily needed a Special Render set =[
Apologies if this lives in the "asked and answered" category, but are there any plans to have the rewards and scenes from Seasons 1+2 accessible from the new season 3 file, or is that more trouble than it's worth?
I think DPC stated somewhere that it will not be included due to filesize or so...
RIONA!!! <3 <3 <3 sorry she is my alltime favorite in the entire game :) so great looking forward to see it
o7 your contributions will never be forgotten PCs! Sadness Lily didn't win, here's hoping for more of the sultry seductress!!!
Seeing more of Josy always makes me Happy :)
Thank you for your service, oh mighty PCs! Also, yes!! My girl Rio won
I love acting lessons, it was the 1st vn I ever played. Grats on the 4 years.
R.I.P. PCs, you have done a great service and you shall always be remembered. Who here thinks if it was given to Derek, he would smash it for the simple fact that he can?
RIP to the PCs Great news, I cant wait to see those Josie renders Happy weekend Doc, thanks for the work!!
Hype..excited for Josy set its been awhile and that was the combo I voted for too on the polls so this was a great update for me lol
RIP to PCs that have rendered Bella! Much respect and appreciation 🙏🏻😌:Give_Bella:
The quality of renders you do would be taxing for any system older than a year! Too bad any Acting Lessons renders wasn't enough to give it a break😄. Thinking out loud.....the Acting Lessons cast with the rendering engine you're using today would be mind blowing! Keep up the great work Doc! More than proud to support you and your work.
So looking forward to Josy's renders series, it was sorely overdue!
RIP PC, thank you for the work 🙏
o7 to your PC's sir
RIP in PC render machines. Thank you for your loyal service. Your sacrifice has not been in vain.
