Status update Episode 5
This week I mainly worked on the script and static renders. I posed ~330 renders and some animations as well.
1077 renders and 111 animations are complete, on top of that I have a healthy queue waiting to render.
I spent some time playtesting the update, to get a feel for it. It's going to be a fairly big one.
I can't accurately estimate how many renders are left to pose, but I think it will be more than 2000 renders and ~130-140 animations in total.
I bought more licensed songs for the game, but some of them are earmarked for future episodes, meaning I won't add everything at once. I'm definitely loving the new freedom I've gotten with using licensed music.
Jill won the poll for a longer animation, so look forward to that in Episode 5.

Thank you. Choosing music for the scenes in the game is one of my favorite parts. The quality of the music I bought, so far, is a step up.
Yes! Jill <3 Quick question Doc, are you going to release each episodes as DLC (steam version) or the complete season?
Complete seasons on Steam is the current plan. I don't want to take a risk doing it per episode on Steam. It would halt development between each update, make version management/bug fixing harder and wouldn't work great with other Steam features such as achievements. Overall, the development will be faster this way.

That's a lot of work! While the wait can be frustrating, having each episode being a substantial amount of content is a good thing, and worth the wait
