Status Update Episode 12
Happy Friday!
This week, I completed the branch I had been working on and started work on the last main girl branch for the episode. After I complete the missing content of this branch and the lewd scene in it, I'm finally done creating story content for episode 12.
To describe the challenges faced with this branch: it was roughly halfway done when I started this week, but the remaining half was put on hold for a while because it required extra attention and reflection. I'm now ready to fully focus on it and give it the attention it needs, so we'll see how it pans out in the upcoming weeks.
I'll also complete the remaining SFX and Music work while I'm working on this branch. The missing Bios entries will also be completed, since this branch is where they belong.
I will finish the end-of-episode report entries as well and complete the credit section and the "Previously on Being a DIK" segment.
I have finished planning Isabella's Special Render set, and I know what every render of it will be. I'll get to work on that after I'm done with the final branch. Camila's Special Render set remains to be planned and created.
After that, it's time to polish the episode while waiting for the animation queue to deplete. I do have some good news in that area: I'm seeing much better render speeds now than in previous months. I see a roughly 70-100% increase in the number of frames produced daily.
The annoyingly slow animations have almost finished rendering, which has sped things up considerably. Those animations, however, have been worth their time. 99 animations are currently in the render queue, and one lewd scene remains to be created.

Sounds great doc! The fact that this last main girl branch needs more reflection both means that it's going to be packing a lot of emotions and also that it will be high quality writing as usual. I'm wondering who she could be. My guess would be possibly Bella since I feel like there are some thunderstorms incoming (her husband possibly coming back, the disovery of what is in her closed room and the secret nature of her relationship with the MC that could be bad news for her if revealed). It could also be Sage since there are complications ahead related to her father and mother that could end coming in play at last in this episode. I'm getting excited about the episode just by typing this!!! I don't want to make this too long, so congrats for the advancement on the episode! It feels like we're getting close to the finishing of the line! With animations going faster and the last part of the main content to make before the little bits and pieces left and the final polishing, it feels like we're only a month or so before starting the beta testing for the episode! I might be too enthusiastic, but it's really encouraging! I can't wait to see the results!

Great news doc I agree with a comment you're storytelling and characters and the love for your game is amazing and I don't care it's a van it should be up there with some of the best story telling games what aren't avns and like I've said before your better than most companies you keep us informed you take suggestions you make polls and you don't rush things you're completely honest and you don't hide anything from us i say this a lot but I can't wait to start season 3 of your masterpiece take care of yourself doc and im looking forward to the next update

Thanks for the update, Pink. Oh, I can't wait. All my saves are ready for episode 12. Gonna start a complete new playthrough, when we are closer to the release date to refresh my memory. I will wait a couple of weeks with that, though...
As I attempted to explain to a friend just how amazing the stories hidden in the AVN genre can be. I found myself gushing about the characters and story of BaD and it occurred to me that we should be talking about Dr. Pink Cake with the same reverence as other video game auteurs. His level of storytelling, character development and relationships is on par with greats like Neil Druckmann and Hideo Kojima.
I agree 💯% I haven't even played any of season 3 but 1 and 2 was amazing I actually got really zoned into the story and characters and was actually engrossed and engaged with the story and the characters
