Episode 11 - Release date announcement
It's my pleasure to announce the release dates for:
Huge DIK tier and above (+$25): Friday, March 7
DIK tier and above ($10+): Monday, March 10
Mini DIK tier ($5): Friday, March 21 (Patch only, needs Season 3 base game to play)
Beta testing is going smoothly. However, given the size of the update and the amount of branching, it will take some more time to be completed fully. The aim is to give you a smooth experience on release and test as much of the content and variations as possible.
The full download for v0.11.0 will be around 18.2 GB, and the patch will be ~6.2 GB.
If you want to patch your game, you will need an unmodified v0.10.0 or v0.10.1 game. Instructions on how to patch your game are provided in the zip file that you download. If you're not comfortable patching the game, I recommend that you download the full version instead.
Make sure to save your game at the end of Episode 10 when the game tells you to. This is the only save point that I guarantee works.
To avoid bugs and crashes, your save files need to be free from mods.
Make sure you treat Season 3 as a stand-alone game and don't merge it with Season 1 or Season 2 data. Merging the game with Seasons 1 and 2 will corrupt both games.
Always make backup copies of your games.

Well, there’s one more chapter and the last one took over a year, so fall 2026 seems likely baring issues. Doc’s responses on release dates is when he’s finished, so fall 2026’ is in no way gospel, but is based on observations of past release date times.

How many episodes are in season 3?
Currently there’s a prologue and chapters 9-11. The final chapter is chapter 12. So, 5 chapters but 4 that cover the story in the present and one that dives into the past through someone else’s eyes. After that there will be one more season with 3-4 episodes.

DPC, when you say, "Make sure you treat Season 3 as a stand-alone game and don't merge it with Season 1 or Season 2 data.", what exactly do you mean? Do I just create a new folder for Season 3
I believe that you just download to Season 3 files and extract them in a folder/desktop. NOT inside the old version, season 2. Like, If you want to play season 2 just open season 2 and to play season 3 open season 3. Don't drag and drop the season 3 files inside season 2. If that makes sense. Sorry if it didn't
ok. My old computer died. Had downloaded orignal game and all saves on the hard drive. Now, I have a new laptop. How do I get the Season 2 full game downloaded now so I can play through and have a file to import into the Season 3?

Next question I have. The unnamed guy that hangs out at Buddy's. Can't be Mick, but do you think Buddy will be ok with him telling Vinny things about Buddy's business with other dealers? Buddy says he doesn't care who brings him business, but if Quinn can bring him business vs Vinny do you think he really cares?
Yeah I don't think we have seen Mick yet. I am pretty sure Rox is dead as Buddy indicates, but I think he's not telling Vinny how he really feels about Q. If I was him and you had Q bringing in more money and you have Vinny who's a PoS, I might give Q some leigh way just for Rox and her mothers sake.

I don't know about anyone else but i think ether Nick or Leon is the one that is leaking the pictures and is the traitor. I say this cause first off Nick was the only one that didn't have any damage to his room when the mansion was trashed and he was still friends with Vinny which is how Tommy got was able to get his weed from him in the first place, As for Leon you never really see any pictures of him when they are posted on the wall or on the walls in school plus him and his 2 buddies from the party one barged in on the MC when doing the Josy and Maya branch when they was playing the game in Rusty's room and didn't want to leave and then at the end you see them again walking the halls of the school and happen to catch the girl posting the pictures on the board at the end of season 10. What are your thoughts about it?
I think it is not anyone of the DIKs. I bet this trace it is a dead end. What I overlooked a long time is the fact that at the very beginning Jamie lost his phone (when he was asked to take a picture of Derek and MC during Hell Week). Rusty mentioned that the phones are all synchronized with the laptop, so his phone may have been the entry point to get access to the laptop. The laptop was missing, but Rusty started to put it into the save after that. So two times, a device has been stolen. This could have been done by anyone attending their parties. Only for the camera, I have no explanation with this theory. If it is really one of the DIKs, my bet would be on Nick for the facts that you stated and also he was around in the library when the laptop was missing. But again... I doubt that. It is too obvious for my taste.
Will you release Episode11 in Steam?
Steam release is season by season, so will be after Episode 12.

I have a question? Since i all ready have the new version. Do I have to download the patch to keep my saves at the end of season 10 or is it better for me to get the whole download for season 11 and if so will that have my saves if i do?
No, the save files are also synced with %appdata%/RenPy/BeingADIK folders, which will import your saves if you start the full version. So patch or full version should work the same.

If you have v0.10.0 or v0.10.1 from Patreon, you can patch it. Patch doesn't work with Steam/GOG versions. If you haven't got v0.10.0 or v0.10.1 you need to get the full version. The built-in guide is a Steam/GOG DLC, on Patreon there is a similar PDF guide that gets updated and released sometime after the latest version release. I'm wondering now that Sage's parents are getting a divorce will the truth about her dad come out about sleeping with students to give them scholarships and / or if you took the route her mother sleeping with the MC and what will happen to the MC if it dose?
I'm not sure if anyone noticed it but Karen was watching MC very hard at the party. I'm wondering if the MC and Karen or any of the 3 girls at the end have a seen together. I had to rewrite this message so i don't give away any spoilers, but i was just wondering if anyone noticed it too and or has the same questions?
I noticed that during the Halloween party, but I'm not sure that it means anything. However, I'm fairly certain that her pal Sally is very much interested in the MC, but is in denial for some reasons that aren't explained yet. And that's why she acts so agressively when talking with the MC.
I know it's kinda inconsequential, but I've always been curious what year most of the DIK's and HOT's are in their education. We've only had a few confirmed, at least the ones past 1st year, but I'd like to figure it out a bit more. MC, Derek, Josy, Maya, Ashley, Camila, Lily, Mona, Christian, Gordon, Lucas and Caleb are Freshmen. Sage is a Senior. Karen is a Sophomore (I think Sally is too). Jill is a Sophomore (I don't really like Jill and Isabella so I might have misinterpreted her). Here's my speculation on the rest. Leon and Jam-Jam are likely Sophomores and perhaps Jacob and JB are as well, though I'd also accept them being Juniors. Rusty, Tommy, Nick and Heather are either Juniors or Seniors, though I lean a bit towards Juniors for all four. Quinn is likely a Junior since Sage talks about Quinn taking over once she's graduated. Riona is likely a Sophomore along with Sarah. I don't have solid evidence to support it but I think that Melanie was Sarah's mother and that's why they're so close, and Sarah being in the Gender Studies class makes me think she's younger. Elena and Arieth I have no clue on, though I wouldn't be surprised if Elena is a Sophomore while Arieth is a Junior. We know Tybalt is a Senior, so that probably puts Rich and Trent under him. What do you think?
You can get a basic timeline based on DIK seniority. Rusty, Tommy, and Nick....then Jacob and John Boy....then Jaime and Leon and now finally MC and Derek. Also Tyballs is graduating too according to Sage so he is also a Senior. From the cutscene with Rusty Jill and Ty you figure out Trent and Jill are also likely Seniors. Quinn is Sages "daughter" making her likely a junior, probably with Rio. Heather was wheeling around at the start of the DIK founding so ...senior. Add to that Lily is probably slightly older as she has been working as a stripper and just now joining college. Cant see her stripping at 17 ....Just some anecdotal observations with no actual proof :D
My pc got wiped, if I get the $10 tier will I be able to get season 1-3? Or is that only for $25 tier? (: if anyone can tell me..
To download the Patreon version, you need to be on the $25 tier to get both seasons 1, 2, and 3. If you have the game on Steam, you can get seasons 1 and 2 from Steam and the $10+ tiers will let you get season 3.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 dropped in February and now episode 11 of BaD is dropping in early March! How will I do to find the time to have a life between these two amazing games?! Hahaha! I'm not even sure that I will be able to sleep! :D

Well, the download site will be on Patreon. But when season 3 is release it will be on steam as well. The tier list are told on the post. March 7th is the higher tier list and such.

Zoe isnt my favorite girl/love interest, but there better be some huge development between her and MC this episode or its just going to be pointless for her to even be in the story at that point.
Considering what she realizes at the end of the Thanksgiving party and the screentime that she got in first two episodes of season 3, I'm pretty sure that her relation with the MC will get significant attention in episode 11.

No, season 3 is still a WIP, there's still a whole episode left for him to develop. The steam DLC will only become available after next episode is completed.
