WHAT’S NEXT FOR OVERDRIVESIM?

I didn’t show too much last week, so here’s a proper look at what I’m currently working on and what’s coming next to TruckSim Customs.

Some of these projects are already in development, while others are still being planned. As always, if I announce something here, my goal is to actually finish it and release it.

1. V8 POWER Mudflaps

The next mudflap variant is already in development

It will use the same detailed base as my previous KRONE Mudflaps, but this time with a new “V8 POWER” design.

The goal is to keep the same detailed rubber look, mounting system and overall quality, while giving you another option for customizing your truck.

This version will be available for TSC SUPPORTER❤️ members.

2. Garmin GPSMAP 65

A completely new standalone GPS accessory is also coming.

The Garmin GPSMAP 65 is being made to work with basically every map combo because the displayed map will be connected to the official SCS world map instead of being made specifically for one map setup.

The first release is planned for all SCS trucks, with support for selected modded trucks coming later.

And this one will be completely FREE.

You’ll be able to download it through Discord or Patreon.

3. OverDrive Economy Mod V5

V5 will not just be another small update.

I’m planning a complete rework of the V4 version.

This includes things like:

• Reworked truck and dealer economy
• Updated fuel prices
• Shop changes
• More realistic costs
• General balancing improvements
• More changes that I’ll show during development

The idea is to make money progression and expenses feel much more realistic without making the game annoying to play.

This version will be available for TSC SUPPORTER❤️.

4. Hunger & Physiological Needs

This one is still in the planning stage, but it’s something I really want to bring into ETS2.

The goal is to make long-distance driving and breaks much more realistic.

Instead of stopping only because the game tells you that your driver is tired, I want to add more reasons to actually plan your stops and manage your driver during longer routes.

I’m not showing too much yet because I want to build the system properly first.
