For No One - a stripped-down melancholy cover
This isn't the video I intended to publish today. The first one ran into difficulty and had to be postponed. It's a goodie about tanks, and you will see it in a month or two. The second one would have been another Q217 video, but after searching for two hours for the book, I could not find it and gave up. So, I quickly made this one instead as a replacement.
It's a bit on the sad side, so be warned.

Very moving rendition. Thank you Lloyd. And yes ... a more nuanced version of "Lily the Pink" would always be welcome!
Wow.. I usually keep your videos on in the background while I fiddle with things. This evening in particular I'm drawing a suit of armour. "Oh, Lloyd has made another musical cover. Nice!" I thought, thinking that will surely be nice to listen to while drawing the links in the chain mail. But then you started singing and stopped me dead in my tracks, and I couldn't do anything but listen intently. Loved your version of the song. It really suits your voice. And you are right. The melancholy fits the lyrics much better.
