Coming soonish on Lindybeige!
This is for my patrons - a show of my new sword, and a quick mention of things to come.
You have not been charged for this video, because it strikes me as weird to charge you for the extra videos - surely they are a reward for supporting the main videos.

That's awesome. I don't know if you're aware but these posts are public, ie: I am not a paying patreon (due to financial situation), simply just follow your page but I can see whenever you post things. Unsure if it's intentional or if it was intended to be an extra video just for those that support you. Either way, good stuff and looking forward to more.
thank you for the good content I have always wondered if if it's a British thing To come to a workshop and get informal training to make a project I really don't see other countries have this tradition
Lovely bit of steel that! And thanks for the heads up on things to come, can barely wait for them. Now that you've fixed your issues with the audio RMS levels bouncing around between different bits (yes, I'm that guy) the only problem with your channel is that you can't make your videos quicker. =) Love your work to bits and looking forward to the future!
How loud a sound is and how loud it sounds are two very different things, I know from bitter experience. Keep being that guy.
It looks like an ideal design! Useable in one or two handed fashion, balanced, sizable guard. Could the hammered in scale be a weak point in the blade? Or is it merely cosmetic?
Insignificant weakness, I'd say.
Could you spell the sword's name please ?
Arnander. Its origin will become clear...
'Tis a beautiful blade, ignore the small imperfections; it adds character to the weapon. I've been wanted to get a personal forge and lean smithing myself, but thats for later down the line. Can't wait for a video of you working the steel, hopefully you add some tidbits about forging in there for us!
Very nice 👍
You're going to look dappa with your new armor and sword, all you need now is a horse and a lance and just declare yourself a knight.
Lovely sword that. Got one a bit thinner myself, but same general design. Could do your first-pass video edits if you like. Something like this perhaps: https://youtu.be/ZVLDV5fFCQw (no, that's a different sword) Looking forward to the forging!
So is this sword forged from METEORIC IRON then?
Er... yes, definitely.
