Noticing those subtle behaviours in Geuse's past self and how it persists but is (was) warped in the present makes it so heartbreaking. His sense of empathy is still there, but it's used to employ suffering instead of helping others heal and his dilligence is even more dialed up. Every other episode of Re:Zero makes me cry. I don't even mind when they were switching back from Emilia to Subaru's plotline this episode. I love being invested in this world so much!!!

Soooooo hype to see Alicia finally witness the heart-melting cuteness of lil' babby Emilia! I just caaaaaan't with that. Way too cute! Everything else is always a treat to see, granted, but her seeing the cute babies is always just way too heartwarming. Which is even more important in a story like Re:Zero, for sure, lol.
Smol Emilia... and that time when Petelgeuse wasn't an evil bastard! Fun fact - Fortuna is voiced by Haruka Tomatsu, and since Petelgeuse is voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka... it's an "SAO Asuna and Kirito reunion" in these episodes.
Halt queen Alicia of the rat's kingdom! lmao the day she reacts to uzaki in english dub I'm changing to a more expensive tier for a month.
I want to remind you of a certain scene from season 1 ep 23. Emilia beats petelgeuse in the first loop, and after freezing his last finger, she starts crying with no real reason. This is (likely) her subconscious reaction to seeing geuse’s end.
Regular Cornyass showing up to ruin the PERECTLY WHOLSOME flashback . . .
Wait. I just realized something diabolical about what's happening. Echidna would've seen all of this.
I don’t know why, but every time I lay eyes on that Geuse guy, it makes my brain… TREMBLES!!!
