Multidrop & Rest Anywhere Update

Multidrop is getting closer to release!

It now works with several trailer types, including flatbeds and construction trailers. The idea is simple: up to 3 different cargoes, 3 different delivery locations, all in one job.

I'm also making good progress on the next Rest Anywhere update, which will include custom animations for tightening cargo securing straps using ratchet tensioners.

There's still a bit of work left to do, but both are coming along nicely!

Thanks for your patience and support!

It would be great if you could add survival elements to the game aswell like food, drink and other necessities truckers need to do, make rest stops as stores where you can buy food and even accessories you can put in your truck.

Sorry about that. I haven’t been keeping up with all the reports lately. I’ll take care of it now — yours was the one about the mirror issue, right?

any news on the compatibility issue for vr users? specifically the one issue i sent thru? haven't been able to use the mod properly since i got the subscription on october 9th...

I’ve already added VR compatibility, but performance is the main reason I haven’t released it yet. In VR, using the plugin causes a pretty significant FPS drop, and pulling out any item — like the coffee cup or cigarette — can freeze the game for several seconds. The worst part is that I still haven’t been able to pin down exactly what’s causing it.

Do you consider ever adding the ‘hammers’ feature for the tachograph?

P
P0lli · October 30, 2026

What Tasks Fall Under "Other Work" (Hammers)? You must switch your tachograph to the crossed hammers during any on-duty task for your employer, including: Vehicle Checks: Conducting daily walk-around checks, safety inspections, or fluid level checks before departure. Loading & Unloading: Loading, unloading, or directly supervising the loading/unloading process of cargo. Paperwork: Filling out delivery notes, consignment notes, timesheets, or job sheets. Vehicle Maintenance: Refuelling, cleaning, washing, or carrying out minor maintenance/repairs on the vehicle. Coupling: Coupling or uncoupling trailers. Hammers vs. Other Modes It is critical to select the correct symbol to avoid compliance breaches during roadside audits: Driving (Steering Wheel): Automated when wheels move. Other Work (Crossed Hammers): Manual; used when you are actively working but not driving. Period of Availability / POA (Square with a diagonal line): Manual; used when you are not working, but must remain available (e.g., waiting at a loading bay where you know the exact wait time in advance, or traveling as a co-driver while someone else drives). Note: If you don't know how long you'll be waiting, you should use the hammers instead.  Rest / Break (Bed symbol): Used for statutory breaks and daily/weekly rest. Why Getting it Right Matters Time recorded under the hammers counts toward your Working Time Directive limits (maximum average of 48 hours a week, unless opted out), even though it does not count against your driving time limits. Misusing the hammers (such as leaving them on during a proper break or rest period) will result in inaccurate compliance records and potential fines during enforcement checks. This is the ‘hammers’ features description, thanks to ai :)
