Patch [Failed] Today!

Hello everyone!

I am wrapping up some final tests to release version 0.29 today. Unfortunately, I could not finish everything for the new quest in time, but while playing through what we have ready, you might notice some new mechanics: ambient dialogues that play between Kalyskah and a companion during certain actions, a puzzle, and some tricky levers that interact with traps.

I will be travelling today and will be back in 13 days. Although the programmer and writer will continue working on their parts during this time, we would not be able to release a patch while I am away. That is why we are releasing what we have now, and when I return, I will wrap up the final steps of the quest, and then prepare to release the public demo as well.

Give me a few hours because I'm already packing the game here for you!

EDIT: The Patch failed

I wrestled with Unreal Engine for hours today, and it seems that some of the new features I mentioned caused issues with the build. It is nothing serious, but it will require more than just a day of debugging. I will ask our programmer to investigate and try to package it while I am travelling.

If he manages to solve it while I am away, the patch will not be uploaded to Itch until I return. For now, I would share it through Google Drive instead. But it's more likely that we'll have to wait until I'm back.

I'm sorry for the delay but we're working as fast as we can!

Hm, I wouldn't mind to wait two weeks if that release would contain all the planned content. But it's still an early alpha game, so we are aware what to expect. ;)

Thank you! And things have been very hectic. I've been sitting in front of Unreal Engine for hours trying to compile it but there are some errors coming up when trying to package the game. I hope I can do it before I have to go but worse case scenario, I might need to ask the programmer to build it during the week
