NEW VIDEO - The Illegal Fanfiction Death Games Of 2011
Hi everyone!!! Patreon version of the newest video is out soon. Last month, Patrons voted on my team gale explainer as the next Patreon video. I still fully intend to make that, but in the process of rereading the books, it got me thinking about an extremely fun part of my (and hopefully some of your?) pasts: SUBMIT YOUR OWN TRIBUTE stories! Both the stories themselves and the desperate attempts to hide them from the FFN moderators. And my own deeply embarrassing Toby moment in pursuit of killing my self insert. This one is intended to be lighthearted, fun, and sweet, and I hope it succeeds on all of those metrics. Gale I will still fight to protect u soon It's not your fault Suzanne Collins is kind of a lib. But more on that later... for now I hope you enjoy this video!!!

Does anyone know if there is a preferred option for us to watch if we're able to pick equally between YouTube & Nebula?
Do whatever you like! I would say Nebula is better for you because no ads, and better for me because a Nebula view does make me more money than a YouTube view, but I also don't want anyone to think of watching my videos as, like, an act of charity toward me - so up to you!
"Darth Diabolica, Dark Lady of the Sith" would be an unironically great niche drag persona
Rage baiting is correct, because as soon as you brought up being Team Gale, I paused the video to yell "But why?!" at my computer. *Really* looking forward to that upcoming Patreon vid lol
To be killed by Eagle Duncan. What an honor.
I'm watching this video and wondering if the whole thing was like 5 12 year olds all with sock puppets doing the same thing.
Yeah you could call me a criminal... I wrote Archie comics crossover fic in 2008 on ff.net and they never caught me. Nowadays kids are writing Riverdale smut and they don't even care. This country... Seriously though I migrated to AO3 in 2011 and I'd been hiding out mostly on fic comms on Livejournal and Dreamwidth before that for at least two years so hearing about a fandom subculture that I've never heard of on ff.net in its declining years that lasted so long is fascinating. You are hereby officially tasked with updating the Fanlore page for this niche subculture with your extensive knowledge as penance for your 12 year old sins.
Sorry Sarah, I know you’re owed at minimum 20 tragedies… But I write sins not tragedies
I mentally prepared myself for the Toby-levels to go into the biblical proportions (pun intended) and I am glad you did not in fact out yourself as the head of critics united.
oh god that would be so much worse
Notifications I clicked so fast. I submitted to these like crazy I loved them
