🚨 FOUR MORE ARCADE TITLES NOW SUPPORTED IN TEKNOPARROT! 🚨

This Saturday’s TeknoParrot update adds support for four more arcade titles across Midway, Atari and Konami hardware.

🔥 NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC

🏈 NFL Blitz ’99

⚔️ Mace: The Dark Age

🚨 Police 911 / Police 24/7 / Keisatsukan Shinjuku 24ji

All four titles also include full stereoscopic VR 3D support in TeknoParrot.

🏀 NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC

Support has now been added for Midway’s arcade basketball classic NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC.

Huge dunks, NBA superstars, exaggerated animations and the unmistakable late 90s Midway arcade style are now supported through TeknoParrot on modern hardware.

The title also features full stereoscopic VR 3D support, adding real depth to the court, players and environments.

🏈 NFL Blitz ’99

NFL Blitz ’99 is now supported in TeknoParrot.

Midway’s legendary arcade football title brings brutal tackles, crazy plays, fast paced matches and classic multiplayer arcade action.

TeknoParrot support also includes full stereoscopic VR 3D rendering.

⚔️ Mace: The Dark Age

Atari’s dark fantasy 3D fighting game Mace: The Dark Age is now supported.

Weapons, multi level arenas, brutal combat and distinctive late 90s 3D arcade visuals make this one of Atari’s more memorable fighting games from the era.

TeknoParrot also provides full stereoscopic VR 3D support for the game.

🚨 Police 911 / Police 24/7

Konami’s Police 911, also known as Police 24/7 and Keisatsukan Shinjuku 24ji, is now supported in TeknoParrot.

This title is particularly interesting because the original arcade cabinet used dedicated motion sensing hardware to track the player’s physical movement.

TeknoParrot can now emulate that movement input using a VR headset.

Head and body movement from the VR headset can be used to duck, lean and take cover in game.

This allows the original movement mechanic to be reproduced with modern VR tracking hardware, without requiring the original Konami motion sensing equipment.

The title also features full stereoscopic VR 3D rendering.

🥽 VR SUPPORT CONTINUES TO EXPAND

All four titles in today’s TeknoParrot update support stereoscopic VR 3D:

NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC · NFL Blitz ’99 · Mace: The Dark Age · Police 911 / Police 24/7

Police 911 goes a step further by using modern VR tracking to reproduce the movement input functionality of the original arcade cabinet.

We are continuing to explore ways TeknoParrot can preserve and reproduce unique arcade hardware features on modern systems, including features that originally depended on specialized cabinet hardware.

More arcade hardware support. More preservation. More VR. 🦜🔥
