Questions and Answers topic

Hello everyone, it's Chang here.

I am still continuing to do this work every day alongside studying and making videos about life. Therefore, my video uploads might not be frequent and continuous, and I apologize for that. I will try to release videos as soon as possible.

Although I have tried my best to reply to each comment, sometimes YouTube does not notify me and I cannot know that there is a new viewer commenting.

So if anyone among all of you here has asked me a question and has not received a response from me yet, please comment here again and ask me the questions you want to know. I will try to answer all of them.

Thank you very much, my family and I love everyone.

Hi Chang, I saw your channel on youtube and decided to support a fellow Vietnamese. Although I am living in Canada now, I try as best I as could to help young Vietnamese people like you even just a little so they could thrive rather than just survive. I love how authentic your videos are. I haven’t been to Hanoi in 15 years (used to live in Saigon) so that was a little trip down memory lane. Keep up the good work và chúc em nhiều may mắn nhé

Hello Truong , Your name is the same as my older brother's name. Thank you so much for your kind words and amazing support! It’s truly heartwarming to connect with a fellow Vietnamese living in Canada. I’m thrilled that my videos could bring back some fond memories of Vietnam for you, even if you used to live in Saigon. I’ll definitely keep up the good work and continue creating authentic content. Wishing you health and happiness!

You pink laptop looks cool in the new video. What is the weather like there, does it ever get cool or is it warmer year around?

Hi Brian! Thank you so much, I really love my pink laptop too! 🌸 As for the weather, Northern Vietnam actually has four distinct seasons! While summers are very hot and humid, our winters (from December to February) can get surprisingly cold and damp, with temperatures dropping to 10-15°C (around 50-59°F). It definitely gets cool enough to need warm jackets! Thanks for watching and supporting me!

Hello from Massachusetts! You mentioned on youtube that you want to tear down your current home and build a new one from scratch. Would this be cheaper and preferable to major reconstruction? In the US, homes with old bones can have their bones replaced. New support beams, new foundations, etc. Is there something irreparable about your current home that requires demolition? No need to respond here, I look forward to your videos! I saw that you mentioned you would be making a video about the home project so this question is for that :) Also, I have many more questions about your father. He seems like a man with tremendous inner strength and I find him fascinating!

Thank you so much for this great question! Actually, construction methods in Vietnam are quite different from the US. In the US, many homes are built with wooden frames, making it easier to replace specific support beams. In Vietnam, especially with older houses like ours, they were built solidly with brick and mortar. Over the years, the foundation can sink, walls crack, and the overall structure loses its load-bearing capacity. Trying to repair or patch up a brick house like this is often very expensive and doesn't fix the core safety issues—it would just deteriorate again in a few years. Therefore, tearing it down and building a completely new house with a strong reinforced concrete foundation is the safest, most cost-effective, and best long-term choice for my family.

I know that you already have many ideas of videos given from your viewers (and I have NOTHING to do with that, because I have never ever given any suggestion about anything, ever!! 😜) but one kind of video that usually gives a lot of views are those "Q&A" videos. So you could make a post on the YouTube channel saying that you're collecting questions and you'll answer some of them on a video format. (usually YouTubers make those videos to celebrate a certain milestone like X number of subscribers, when the channel hits Y months/years old and so on. Or you could just throw it for no reason hahaha)

Hi Gabriel, thank you to the "person who has never given any suggestions" for this super cool idea! 😜 I also think doing a Q&A video so everyone can get to know me and my family better is a very interesting idea. Your suggestion comes at the perfect time. I'll collect some questions and make a special video for an upcoming occasion. Thank you for always being on this journey with me!

You mentioned that you're in university. I'm curious what are you studying, and why you chose the major you're studying?

I am currently studying Tourism and Travel Management. After graduating, I aim to become a tour guide. To be honest, I wasn't particularly passionate about this field at first; I had originally wanted to study Chinese Language, but the cost was beyond my family's financial means. I chose this major because it allows me to study both English and Chinese, and the tuition fees are affordable.
