What a heartwarming video Chang. Keep up the hard work, the studying, and the great videos you are sharing with us. You are truly amazing and inspirational. I can’t wait for that tour of Hanoi.
Dear John, I am so touched by your wonderful message. Thank you for your endless support and for always cheering me on! Knowing that my videos inspire you gives me so much strength to keep balancing my studies and my channel. I'm already looking forward to sharing that Hanoi tour with you! Warmest thanks from Vietnam.
Dear Chang, I see you and your family work so hard to achieve your dreams. I believe that with focusing on your long term goals you will create success for generations. I also know that editing videos on top of studying, working, and family commitments is also a lot of time investment. Your family reminds me a lot of my own grandfather's family in Iran. My grandfather's family also grew up in a rural village where he had to work very hard for the land and they grow rice in the village. Your home reminded me of his home, with lots of older items that still work. He passed away this month at 97 years old. I wanted to make a donation to your family in his memory. The hard work for my grandparents in Iran helped my parents get an education so my parents could move to Canada and they had me. They worked hard so life is easier for the next few generations. I am happy to live a comfortable life with the freedom to achieve my biggest dreams as a young woman and I deeply hope that for you too. I truly believe your family will set up your future generations for success with the right decisions in education and finances. Stay positive and focused. May you, your mom, dad, and brother learn someday what it feels to have a comfortable life. I hope your children and grandchildren have a chance at an easier life. Sending lots of love and support. Best of luck Chang! - Roya Shams, Vancouver BC , Canada
Dear Roya,I am so deeply moved by your beautiful message. First of all, please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved grandfather .It is truly an honor that our home reminded you of his, and I am beyond grateful that you chose to support my family in his memory. Hearing about his hard work in the rice fields of Iran and how it paved the way for your life in Canada gives me so much hope and inspiration .Your family's journey—from a rural village to a comfortable life in Canada—is truly inspiring and gives me so much strength to keep working hard for my family's future. Thank you for your incredible generosity and your wonderful wishes for us. Sending warm hugs to you in Vancouver!
We love you! All the best to you and your family!
Thank you so much, Tony! Sending lots of love right back to you. Your support and well wishes mean everything to my family and me!
Hello, Chang! I was wondering when you would post a new video. You're so adorable 🥹 (funny thing is that I watched your video almost right after you've posted it, but was busy doing house chores that I couldn't sit down and dedicate a few minutes to leave a proper comment) I can't express how much I appreciate your videos and messages giving us some feedback of what's going on with your life right now. Thank you for keep up to date! On a *totally unrelated* topic (because I like paying attention to details hahahaha): you've made a video where you explained about your unusual name for a Vietnamese; Chang is more of a Chinese name. Now that I heard you speaking English without the subtitles I noticed that... Your English kind of has a Chinese accent to it hahaha Your accent doesn't sound much like other Vietnamese I hear on YouTube. Of course I'm not saying that you're an infiltrated Chinese spy or anything hahahahaha 🤣 Have you had English teachers from China, for example? Or is it just your personal trait? I'm once again very curious 😁
Just to add some more details to what I mean: I've noticed that a lot of younger Chinese (this generation around 20-30 years old, which had and have more and better access to the English language) tend to add some R sounds in the middle of certain words. My wild guess is that most of them are trying to emulate the British accent, where British tend to add Rs where there aren't any (for example "idea" becomes "idear"). While Vietnamese (I have noticed) tend to elongate the middle of the word and suppress the last syllable. Linh, from the channel Linh Linh Life, has a very pronounced accent like that. Or "haaa' a veeery pronooounc' accen' like thaa'" (I'm not teasing her or anyone, just to be clear. As a non native English speaker myself I know *very well* how to recognize a Brazilian speaking English hahahaha. We have our quirks as well)
Hi from the north of Sweden! Its really interesting to hear about everyday life from a completely different side of the world. I really appriciate you showing us. I would love to know what you do for fun with your friends? What is the best about living where you live? I am very curious! ❤️
Hi Freja, warm hugs to you in Sweden! ❤️ Thank you for being so interested in my daily life. Truthfully, I have a very small circle of friends. When I'm in my hometown, my family is my main focus. And when I'm down in the city, studying and working part-time take up almost all of my days. For fun, I usually just stay in and enjoy quiet hobbies like listening to music, doing embroidery, and painting. But the absolute best thing about living here is when my whole family sits together just to chat and share our daily stories. It's simple but makes me so happy. Thank you so much for your sweet support!
So lovely to see your beautiful face and hear your voice Chang. Sending you lots of love from Perth, Western Australia ❤️
Hi Gina, thank you so much for your sweet words! It really means a lot to me. Sending lots of love right back to you in Perth, Australia! ❤️
