Teams, clubs and events: your league, inside EvoForge

Thank you for supporting EvoForge! Last week the Paddock brought your friends into the app. With 1.0.65 it brings in your whole racing community: Teams, Clubs and Events. Everything is free for every driver, and your support is what makes that possible.

Teams: your crew, organised

• A team page: crest, drivers and roles (Principal, Captain, Driver, Rookie), recruiting status, your own leaderboard of the season’s best laps per track, and a public link to bring new drivers in.

• Team nights: date, track, car and the setup of the night. Drivers answer I’m in, get a reminder 30 minutes before, and your Discord gets the announcement and the reminder.

• The team server, one click away: when a teammate hosts for the team, the others join from the team page. The password reaches teammates by itself: nobody pastes it anywhere.

• Shared setups: share a .carsetup from your folder; teammates install it in one click, in the right car and track folder, never over their own files. Captains pick a reference setup per car and track, which can install itself for everyone.

• Your colours: a band in the team colours on every driver’s helmet (optional, offered or required) and your [TAG] next to your name, everywhere.

Clubs: run your league

• A club page with its calendar, announcements, championships, entered teams, members and rules. Roles: Owner, Admin, Editor, Steward, Member.

• Join a club in one click, on request or by invitation, or simply follow it and pick your notifications (All, Events only, Nothing).

• Announcements with an event or the podium attached, and reactions: Present, Bravo, Clean.

• A public page, and a calendar feed to add the club’s events to your own calendar.

• Clubs appear in the directory from 5 members; verified clubs wear a badge.

Events people actually show up to

• A schedule (practice, qualifying, race), cars, assists, damage, the setup rule, grid size, solo or team entries with a number of seats per team.

• One link to share: drivers sign up in one click from the event page.

• 30 minutes before the start, Register becomes Join the grid: EvoForge opens the event server and hands over the password, to registered drivers only.

• Hosting the event? The host form fills itself from the event.

• Anyone can also create an open night, without a club.

Championships, stewards and clean racing

• Points tables with pole and fastest-lap bonuses; driver standings and team standings (the best drivers of each team, per round).

• Results of an event hosted with EvoForge come in as provisional; stewards match drivers, apply time or place penalties, disqualify, decide protests (open for 24 hours) and validate. Points, standings and a results announcement follow.

After the race

• A recap with the podium in helmets, your finish, your best lap (and personal records), your incidents, your points and your move in the championship.

• A clean race with them? Thank the drivers who left you room. Thanks only, never a negative rating. Ten thanks earn the Fair-play badge.

A crest that looks like you

• Teams and clubs build their crest from their own images: up to four layers cut to the crest’s shape, blend modes, duotone and tint, fades toward any edge, an emblem, tag placement, gloss and shadow. Three one-click presets, undo and redo.

• A banner image for the team or club page.

Host with setup rules

• Free setups, stock setup (the server locks everyone on the car’s default setup) or event setup (EvoForge hands the setup to every driver who joins). The multiplayer list shows the rule before you join.

Free for everyone

Teams, clubs and events are included in every plan, free plan included. All you need is an EvoForge account.

Getting started

1. Update EvoForge to 1.0.65, or download it from evoforge.fr.

2. Open Paddock, then Create a team or Find a team, and Clubs to find or start your league.

3. Share your team or event link.
