Movie Reaction - This Is Spinal Tap | This Movie Is Great!!!🤣 11 out of 10

10:44 Billy Crystal

Yes Billy Crystal was with the mime waiters.

Rob Reiner was a famous actor (Mike on All in the Family) but an even more famous director. This was his first directing gig. Unfortunately he was recently murdered by his son. Many famous actors did cameos in this movie.

This was great! I have seen bits and pieces before, but this is my first time to see it all the way through. I always turn my music up to 11! 🤣

Just finished watching - haven't seen it for about 7 years. Derek Smalls played by Harry Shearer has been the voice of many of the Simpsons characters since it began including Mr Burns, Waylon Smithers and Ned Flanders. One thing my Brothers,Friends and I were surprised at is none of the main members of the band are English and they had such good London accents (being a Londoner myself we tend to get lazy and drop our t's etc). Nigel Tufnell (Guitarist?!? 😆) is played by Christopher Guest who although born in New York his Father was a British Baron hereditary peer who had a seat in our House of Lords. So he is now The Right Honourable the Lord Haden- Guest! And of course married to Jamie Leigh Curtis ! Spinal Tap actually did a few gigs that we went to , obviously not much music so filled out with a lot of comedy - but they can play (just about 😉) - so we heard all the big hits such as "Big Bottom", 'Sex Farm Woman', 'Stonehenge' and many more! It is a film you have to watch more than once to get everything because on initial viewing - you have no idea if it's real documentary or not - so it's understandably a little confusing. So glad you did it though and hopefully enjoyed it.

Your "up to 11" discussion is funnier than the entire movie.

Not Ben Stiller. Harry Shearer.

I've seen this movie a lot. Michael McKean is one of my favorites.
