Archon Video & Warcraft Recorder Storage
Hi all!
You might've seen my posts about joining the Archon team back in March on Reddit. Link here if you missed it, or my Youtube video explaining the Future of Warcraft Recorder and Archon Video.
The highlights from the videos can also be found here.
Today I'm here to announce that Cloud Video Storage is finally available in the Archon App, and we'll be re-using this Patreon to provide this. What exactly does that mean?
If you're already a WCR subscriber, you'll now also get storage in the Archon App.
This is while we work on feature parity between the two apps, the bought storage can be used simultaneously and independently. This won't last forever, but it will allow you to use either application depending on your preference!
We really encourage you to try both applications and make full use of this benefit.
Curious on how to set up Cloud Storage in the Archon App?
As a Patreon here, you'll also automatically join the Warcraft Recorder Discord. While the best place to ask for Archon App help is in the game-version Discords, we'll also be able to help you out in there if needed.

How can I view the recordings from my phone?
With warcraft recorder you can view them on the website, with the Archon App you can view them on reports pages on log stites like warcraftlogs.com if you are logged in.
Can my guild mates, who don't have the sub, use the storage that i have the sub for if I allocated space for the guild? Cause in Warcraft Recorder anyone you shared the code with could use it to upload their videos
Yes, that's exactly how it works! The subscription model is very similar to WCR.
Honestly, would love the automatic upload of a video and log associated attached to it 😃
Hey, this is how it works in the Archon App. Are you running into any issues getting it setup?
