NEW: Nuke Social Bunny
Do you have High School Years but find you NEVER use Social Bunny? Do you, like me, think the notifications reminding your Sims to post are extremely annoying? Have you had to use mods to try to reduce it's impact on your game's performance? Didn't it leave you wishing you could eradicate Social Bunny from space? Well, Nuke Social Bunny does just that!
With this mod installed, it is as if Social Bunny never existed. No phone icon. No notifications. And best of all, no NPCs interacting with the service in the background, slowing down your game! Just pop it in your Mods folder, and you never have to think about Social Bunny again!
It is also safe to uninstall at any time, though it will leave the Deactivated Social Bunny buff on your Sims until you choose to Activate Social Bunny for them via the phone.
NOTE: This mod is expected to conflict with any other mods that modify Social Bunny behavior, so please remove other Social Bunny-related mods before installing.

Probably a silly question but I just want to be sure If I have this mod does that mean I should probably take out turbodriver's fix social bunny simulation lag? If social bunny is nuked then it should be fine to take that out correct? (I know you said it would conflict with social bunny mods but...again...i wanted to be sure)
Yes, the docs say specifically to take that mod out with NSB installed. Turbodriver's mod is the one you want to use if you want to retain some Social Bunny functionality. This one if you want to obliterate Social Bunny from space.
In theory I like the idea of various sims just sort of doing weird things like social bunny posts. I tend to load up a save with a variety of chaos set up and just sit back and watch? But man. The functionality is just one of a million things that... really make the game take a hit I'm not really willing to deal with. A full nuke sounds like a blessing, since I hate leaving icons for things that aren't functional and stuff. Thanks :)
The only time I liked the "social bunny" was in the early version of the game, when he would actually pop in when your sim's social was bottomed out. Now, anything "social bunny" is a nuisance. Thank you for this mod!
If you’re looking for something like social bunny but more indepth. Danitysimmer has a social media mod along with add ons for that mod on her pateron. It’s great for storytelling and gameplay purposes. I use it all the time in my saves and it’s definitely better than social bunny.
