This one addresses a bug in the Get Famous acting career that has been frustrating players (myself included) for YEARS. EA forums are full of reports going back to at least 2022, with players confirming it happens consistently on vanilla games with no mods installed. As recently a couple of weeks ago, players were still reporting that the only way to pass the gig at all is to skip the interaction entirely, with no other way around the glitch. When it happened in my save (AGAIN), I decided to try fixing it once and for all.

The bug comes down to a conflict in how the game manages sitting positions internally. The makeup chair uses two separate posture states that look identical on screen but are treated as completely distinct by the engine. The handoff mechanism between them contains a flaw that causes each state to invalidate the other when ownership is transferred, taking both the actor and stylist out of the chair at the same time.

The fix bypasses that handoff entirely. Rather than transferring ownership, the hair interaction is pushed independently after makeup completes, so each posture state is acquired cleanly without any conflict.

No setup required. Install it and your actors will make it through the full styling prep sequence.
