Outfit Control

You've spent hours building the perfect save. Carefully decorated lots, a thoughtfully played household, a whole world that feels just right...and then a townie walks by wearing a cocktail dress with hiking boots and a cowboy hat. Nobody invited her. Nobody knows where she came from. And yet here she is, ruining the vibe.

Outfit Control adds a click menu to every Sim that lets you fix it on the spot without ever opening CAS.

The basics are simple: click any Sim and swap just the piece that's offending you. Change the top without touching the bottom. Swap the shoes without changing anything else. Strip every accessory off at once and start fresh. Each option is filtered to the Sim's current outfit category so you're not pulling formal wear into an athletic slot.

If you're using MC Command Center with MC Dresser, Change Outfit pulls a complete saved outfit from your pool matched to the Sim's gender, age, and current outfit category. No MCCC? No problem, the mod creates its own config file on first run that uses the same format, so community outfit pools drop right in. Creators like BlackPanda and Tiasha have put together libraries of over 20,000 outfits covering all ages and genders - well worth grabbing if you want a fully stocked pool from day one. Note that these community configs are built against the full DLC catalog, so having all packs installed is recommended for best results.

The full menu:

  • Change Outfit — pulls a complete outfit from your MC Dresser pool, filtered by age, gender, and current outfit category

  • Change Top — randomizes the top with same filtering as above, keeps everything else

  • Change Bottom — randomizes the bottom with same filtering, keeps everything else

  • Change Shoes — randomizes shoes with filtering

  • Change Full Body — randomizes a full-body outfit with filtering

  • Change Hat — randomizes headwear with filtering

  • Remove Hat — removes headwear

  • Remove Shoes — sets shoes to barefoot

  • Change Glasses — randomizes glasses with filtering

  • Remove Glasses — removes glasses

  • Remove All Accessories — strips glasses, jewelry, gloves, socks, tights, piercings, and nails in one click
