Come Spend a Quiet Saturday Night in the Greenhouse With Me 🌙🌱❤️
I wasn't actually planning on making a video last Sunday night… but sometimes I think those turn out to be my favorite ones. ❤️
I'd been away from the farm for four days, and when I got home I discovered that some of my poor lettuce seedlings had gotten WAY bigger than they should have. They were already 21 days old and desperately needed to get into the NFT channels.
The problem was that I couldn't put them out there in the hot sunshine without stressing them even more. So I waited until evening, grabbed the camera and thought… why not bring you guys along with me? 🥰
There's something I really love about being in the greenhouse at this time of night. The temperature starts dropping, most of the fans shut down, you can hear the pumps quietly running in the background, and everything just feels peaceful.
So this isn't a polished YouTube production. It's just me, some very overdue lettuce, a greenhouse slowly getting dark…and you keeping me company while I work. 🌱❤️
I also show you a little trick I've learned for separating oversized seedlings from the Oasis cubes without tearing all those roots apart, and why I prefer doing a rescue transplant like this in the evening.
And yes… I did sacrifice one poor little guy along the way. 😂
I hope you enjoy spending a few quiet minutes in the greenhouse with me. These little everyday moments around the farm are some of the things I really enjoy sharing with you here.
Love you guys,
Katy ❤️
