🌻 A Little Gift for ALL My Members — Don’t Toss Those Sunflower Stalks!
I have another little garden printable for you today, and this time I wanted to make sure every one of my Patreon members gets it. ❤️
We’re getting ready to clean out our sunflowers and start transitioning the raised beds for fall, but there’s one thing I’m definitely not throwing away — those big sunflower stalks! 🌻
I’ve been learning more about how gardeners dry and reuse sunflower stalks, and I absolutely love this idea. Once they’re cut, cleaned and properly dried, they can be stored over winter and used next season as free, natural garden stakes, teepees and small trellises for peas, beans, cucumbers, flowers and other lighter climbing plants.
So I made you a new Homegrown Passion printable showing the whole process — how to choose the best stalks, cut and dry them, store them through winter, and put them back to work in the garden next spring.
I love finding little ways like this to use more of what we grow instead of throwing it away. And if I'm learning something useful here at Bradwood Farm, I want to share it with you too. ❤️
This printable is available to ALL of my Patreon members, so download it below, save it with your other growing guides, and hopefully we'll both be using our sunflower stalks in the garden next year! 🌻🌱
Thank you so much for being here and supporting everything we do. It really does mean a lot to me.
Good gardens, brighter days! ❤️
Katy
