🌿 New Garden Printable: Powdery Mildew Is Showing Up in My Garden

I’ve been walking through the garden lately and noticing something I really didn’t want to see… the first signs of powdery mildew are starting to show up on some of my plants. 🌿

It seems like every year about this time, after we’ve had the heat, humidity, cool nights, and a garden that has gotten just a little too lush and crowded, it starts sneaking in.

And if you grow cucumbers, squash, pumpkins, melons, sunflowers or even flowers like zinnias, you’ve probably seen it too — that little dusting of white on the leaves that suddenly seems to be everywhere!

So while I’m dealing with it here at Bradwood Farm, I thought this was the perfect time to make another printable for you. ❤️

I put together my new Powdery Mildew in the Garden Guide covering:

🌱 How to recognize it early
🌱 Which plants are most susceptible
🌱 What you can do when you find it
🌱 Simple treatment options
🌱 And most importantly, ways to help prevent it from getting out of control

One thing I’ve learned from gardening and farming all these years is that our gardens are never perfect. Mine certainly isn’t! 😂 There is always something trying to eat it, grow on it, crawl through it, or completely ignore what I had planned for it.

But that's also part of the fun. We learn from each season, help each other, and hopefully become a little better growers along the way. ❤️

I hope you’ll download the guide, print it out, and keep it with the other Homegrown Passion growing guides we’ve been putting together.

And if you’re seeing powdery mildew in your garden right now, tell me what plant it showed up on. I’d love to hear what everyone is dealing with this late in the season.

Happy growing, everyone! 🌻🌿

Love,
Katy ❤️
