π Tomato Bible: Are You Pruning Your Tomatoes the Right Way?
Tomato plants can turn into a jungle amazingly fastβ¦and more leaves don't necessarily mean more tomatoes!
For today's Bradwood Farm Gardening Library printable, I'm digging into one of the jobs I stay on top of with my indeterminate tomatoes: pruning and managing those suckers.
I put together a visual guide showing you where to find the suckers, when to remove them, why I don't want to strip too much foliage away, when topping the plant can help late in the season, and a few simple habits that can improve airflow and keep the plant healthier.
One really important part is knowing what kind of tomato you're growing, because determinate and indeterminate tomatoes shouldn't necessarily be pruned the same way.

This one is available for my Coffee in the Greenhouse, Growers Circle Pro and Behind the Greenhouse Door members.
I spend an awful lot of time standing between tomato plants this time of year, so I figured I might as well share a few of the things I've learned along the way. ππ±
