🌿 Giving My Baby Lettuce Some Summer Shade

The heat has definitely arrived!

With the heat index climbing toward 95°, all four of my exhaust fans and the wet wall were running, but my greenhouse still needed a little extra help keeping the lettuce comfortable.

In this video I'm pulling my 30% shade cloth over the lettuce side of the greenhouse for the summer. I'll also answer one of the questions I get asked the most—why I install my shade cloth inside the greenhouse instead of over the outside.

It's one of those simple projects that only takes a few minutes each year, but it makes a huge difference in keeping my lettuce and arugula happy through the hottest months of summer.
