Hot, Smoky and Waiting for the Storm 🔥⛈️

Yesterday evening, after spending the day harvesting for the farmers market, I finally slipped away to the deck for a little break.

The smoke from the Canadian wildfires was hanging heavily in the air, and I could see a storm starting to move in. I was really hoping the rain would finally clear the smoke away and give everything a fresh start.

I still had a few chores waiting for me before the rain arrived—feeding Dozer the calf, putting away the deck cushions, and making sure everything was tucked safely inside. But first, I wanted to sit down, cool off, and spend a little private time with you.
