Obviously many of your videos on Big Joel are about critiquing or analyzing the Christian right in America. Do you think you will ever make videos about your own political beliefs and worldview or about works of fiction that you share political objectives with? I suspect the answer is that you don’t find that as interesting as the confused, messy, and contradictory things made by those on the right, but would like to hear you elaborate your thoughts even if that is the answer.

I keep getting the Injustice Flash vs Superman gun control chess debate recommended to me on youtube. I want you to go watch it if you haven't already and I want to hear your opinions on Superman's side of the argument vs The Flash, and see if you agree with the Comic's framing that The Flash won that argument. You tend to have an incredibly clear and honest intellect so I would love to see your take on this, see if it is the same or differs with mine, and see if you bring up anything I didn't think of. I will refrain from listing my opinion (unless you ask) so that I don't bias you in any way. Edit: I showed up on the stream and I might have given some weird vibes by accident with what I said; when I saw that I could ask a question it clicked that "oh he has a patreon I should subscribe" and that is what got me to sub, but I will stay subbed even if you don't answer this at all, I think you deserve it. hey Joel! have you given any thought to the type of book you'd like to write? I assume it would be in the realm of satirical/weird literary fiction like your short stories--as an aside, I love that your stories are always a little unsettling and sometimes surprisingly bittersweet, it's great reading something where I'm never quite sure what I'm in for

How do I move on after having caused that which I feel so much regret for. I am a good person, and I'm better everyday, but I look back and see my own hands are balled into fists. Beating down on the back of my head like a war drum. I did it. It dosnt matter how I see things now, or what my intention was. How young I was how much more I've learned. I did it. Now it's my history. How does one live with the overwhelming guilt?

I recently had a dream where you were sitting by a fountain on my college campus, chatting with a person I didn’t recognize. I said aloud, “is that Big Joel?” And passers-by turned their heads toward you, as if to see if it was true. You let out an exasperated sigh, upset you had been discovered, and frustrated that people would now swarm you like paparazzi. “Really?” You exclaimed. Hello Big Joel! Have you ever heard of Happily Ever After on HBO? It was an old animated show in the 90s that seemed to be ahead of their time. It would retell fairy tails in different cultures. For example Little Mermaid is Black , Aladdin is Chinese, Goldilocks is Jamaican, Snow White is Native American, etc. it’s pretty amazing, and shows what Disney could have done when they were remaking their old movies. If you ever get a chance to watch it, it’s on Max and the eps are 30mins long. Also, they had ton of famous people voicing and singing in the series!
