Husband is Home!
Hey, folks!
Yesterday, the husband was returned to me. We got in late last night, but all in all, he's doing really well so far!
His heart surgery went well, and he's bouncing back pretty quickly it looks like. Everyone seemed to be really happy about his progress at the hospital, so he was sent home to continue his recovery.
We have a handful of follow-up appointments this week and in the following weeks, but I expect things to keep being a positive progression!
Thank you all for being so patient with my lack of the Darius Epologue. I really appreciate that with how things have been lately. I've been so tired and drained, writing has been a real struggle, but I should be able to get back into the swing of things!
I'll be trying to finish up that Epilogue, and I'm gonna throw in some bonus stuff before I post it, so it'll probably just be my update on the first (then I'll dive right into the next epilogue, hah!).
Thank you all again for your support and for all the well wishes towards me and the husband!

I'm glad to hear that, i hope everything is back to normal soon! Please think about taking your time. Even though your husband had that surgery, you being there for him must've been draining too. Give yourself some rest before you push yourself again so fast after all that.
Nice to hear good news on your hubby's recovery. As lots of people have said before, take your time cause caretaker duties are quite draining when you been doing it for some time. I know as I had to take on that role for my mother several times. So release the lion when your are happy with the Epilogue and not because your feeling guilty,. Though if you really want us to feel happy maybe a Darius plushie? (Just kidding no need to push on that but I wouldn't say no either.) ;0

So happy that you're all back home! My family has a history with heart issues, so i know how terrifying it can be, especially when they aren't exactly sure *what's* wrong. Hoping you guys get the rest you deserve!!
