Looking back at 2025 and to 2026!

Hey, folks! With 2025 coming to an end, I wanted to make one final post for the year!

It was definitely a busy, and somewhat stressful, year, but hey, we made it to the end, right? Good on all of us! If you made resolutions for 2025, hopefully they went well. Even if you didn't complete them all or fully, look back at the year and reflect on what all you accomplished and be proud of that. I know I missed the mark on a couple of mine, but I made great progress on some of them too and nailed some goals I wanted to hit! Here's hoping any goals set for 2026 are things we can strive towards! (For anyone in the discord server, there's a thread for posting them if you want)

For ExcA, big stuff happened this year, right? Richard's route ended, which was another huge milestone, and the character Bio pages got a much-needed updated. The new Pinata feature was added (and broken), then we had the crazy October event (which will have more impacts on different routes!). Tons of new art, some new music and variety of other minor things happened too. All in all, I think it was a great year overall for Extracurricular Activities. Hell, I even hit my 10-year anniversary here on Patreon! It's crazy to me.

Next year will be huge too! If you haven't checked it yet, the Update Schedule is updated through about the middle of 2026. By the end of May, I plan on having Dwayne's route completed...

This means all of the dateable characters routes will be finished! Just typing that sentence fills me with all sorts of emotions, haha.

Of course, I still have the 4 Epilogues to do (Which should be Dozer > Darius > Richard > Dwayne), then a final final BONUS event for having completed all 7 routes. Add some other bonus updates and such in there, and I'm looking at finishing up ExcA sometime in 2027 most likely. I -could- push to finish it in 2026, but I don't think I'm quite comfortable in making that statement, haha. We'll have to see how things go! (Remember, each Epilogue I'll spend a month on, and I'll probably use a month for the big bonus ending too, so that's 5 months just right there!)

Not to mention, there's still a lot of cleanup and polish to be done! I still have my work cut out for me for ExcA. You guys can expect to see a lot more of our guys through the year still!

That being said, however, more and more people are going to start asking me "What's next?", and it's a valid question! I've been working on ExcA for so long, it's hard to imagine something else. I want to keep creating characters and stories that you all will enjoy though, and I want to focus more on the fantasy world I've been building over the years.

Endless Bounty, Engaging Destiny, Eternal Endeavor (STILL A WIP), Tales of Lorithel: Bonds of Royalty and Exploring Fristcott all take place in Lorithel, a continent on the world of Talestrios. All of those stories intertwine somehow, and I want to continue adding more and more to that world, so that's what I plan to do.

Sooo, today, I want to share the initial design of the MC for my next project. I can't reveal too many details about him just yet, but there's more to this guy than meets the eye. He's not just your typical human...

I wanted to go with an older protagonist for my next project, so this guy is somewhere in his late 30s to early 40s. He's definitely not your usual VN main character, hah. As I get older, I want to see more stories that follow guys my age! (And who doesn't want someone they can call Daddy?)

I'm still hammering out a bunch of the overall details for the project, but I wanted to give you guys something to look at to build up a bit of hype for what's to come. I'm aiming to have a demo of sometime next year to really show you guys what I'm going for, so I hope you guys will continue to stick around it!

You can expect to see your usual furry characters along with a handful of other fantasy races you'd not see in ExcA, like dragons, orcs and more (like custom races)! If you've played any of those other projects, you'll have an idea of what to expect!

I think that's all I want to say for the time being! 2025 was big for ExcA and 2026 will be huge too! I can't wait to keep showing work off to you guys, and I hope you all continue to enjoy what I bring to you! I could keep going on and on, but I need to wrap it up, haha.
