Twenty-two-year-old Wan Zhao has always lived a carefree life as a wealthy heiress, until her family suddenly goes bankrupt and she discovers that her father has an illegitimate son. Determined to regain control of her future, she agrees to marry into the powerful Feng family and becomes engaged to the second son, Feng Zhuo. When she catches him cheating, however, she turns the situation to her advantage and boldly proposes marriage to his formidable older brother, Feng Lin. The 28-year-old CEO is cold, calculating and firmly opposed to marriage after his mother's suicide, caused by his father's infidelity.
