Weekly progress report

Hello guys! This week I was having a really productive week for the game until yesterday's evening when I realized out of the sudden I had flu, I mean when you are okay when moment and the every symptom kicks in at once. So today I haven't been able to do much, but the rest of the week I did manage to do something.

So I'll keep it short today. On the 2D side, the cultist enemy got his face with 2 poses and for the cover MC got painted, seems like that artist work mostly on weekends.

For the game side of things, I continued the story after you meet Nicole, now you are able to get insdie the factory talk to Erica, leave and talk to Nicole again and that pops another fight where Nicole joins the party for real. I started working on the Rio Bravo map with zombies but there isn't that much work done yet. I changed the start of the game for MC to not look like an asshole from the start, so you choose to be the asshole and not imedaitly be forced into the role. The other thing I did was adding a hidden safe in Rio Bravo near the river, in there you might just guess the code if you don't have anything better to do, or you'll find the code if you search a trash can when you are resting with Erica. There is a bit of money lying in the ground and some of it will apear after day one, a hidden equipment and mostly I added more items. The other thing that I did is to give MC and Erica a second skill to be learned at lower levels, MC got a buffing skill and Erica and ice attack.

For the GUI I conected everything so for the parts that I'm not touching the GUI is done for now, I still think we need an image for the folder, but I asked the first mates for ideas. The other thing I was working on is for purple fire, the idea is that when Erica cast her skills the purple fire shows up in her hands that would make the animation a bit more interesting, but I have to wait for the cover to be ready so the fire in the cover and in her hands is the same color.

For a short report it ended up being long, but I'm going back to bed. Probably tomorrow I'll be fine, because today it's only the stomach and muscles, yesterday it was the whole body.
