Is this the guy behind AMO -the company behind the Tai Chi Walking scam on youTube?
Amazing that the war nerd might be reporting under fire. Stay safe and keep your head down, John
We thank Brendan for maintaining the status of this podcast, as one that regularly suffers casualties
As a former Rochester resident the intro did not surprise me, abject horror is a regional speciality next to the garbage plate
Chad Meat Assault Maxxers vs Virgin Drone Nerds
Even if the Ukrainians had the components to build Patriot missiles on their own, why wouldn’t Russia just bomb the plant? The real big brain move would be to give the license to some other European country that Russia would be more reticent to attack.
At 1:60:30 ". . . people called buyers . . ." "Sharpe and Harper then enlist in the South Essex Regiment under assumed names in order to find the 2nd Battalion. They and other recruits are taken to a secret, brutal training camp in Foulness Island, run by the 2nd Battalion's commanding officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Bartholomew Girdwood. Sharpe learns that Fenner, Sir Henry Simmerson (the regiment's disgraced founder and Sharpe's old enemy from Sharpe's Eagle) and Girdwood are secretly selling trained recruits to other regiments and profiting enormously." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharpe%27s_Regiment
Everything's a fucking remake in late capitalism
I hope you and your family are doing well. I heard the air quality in Rochester is god awful.. stay safe everyone
The hit of the Ukrainian agent sounds identical to how they killed Adriana in the sopranos haha
Sil and Bobby arguing about who has to plug 4 bullets into her
Around 1:27:00, the conversation about how lame the criminals’ tastes are, it’s a valuable reminder than criminals are fucking losers. Even the ones idiots come to idolize (real or fictional) are loser pieces of shit. It’s the one thing street criminals and criminals in suits have in common.
Turns out being antisocial scum in that shortsighted, unthinking, genuinely psychopathic way also renders them incapable of understanding and empathy in the enjoyment of culture, art, or object permanence.
Mark’s pronunciation of Monaco is quite something.
Penultimate syllable stressed? Polska gurom!!! 🇵🇱🥟💡
the dream of the 90's is alive in Ukraine
If only Kubrick was still around, we could get Paths of Glory 2 : Ukraine (banned in Brussels)
Am I the only idiot who still has no idea what took place re: Nord stream
Maybe someone else can correct me but originally western press said Russia did it but it ended up being Ukrainians with the knowledge of western intelligence? I think Sy Hersh broke the story
Rochester opener bit is all gas
Mark learning more and more about Rochester over the last few years has a bit of a Gothic horror feeling
Yet another 6 7 from my favorite boomer Mark Ames, thank you everyone
I became a paid subscriber so I would never miss a Mark Ames 6 7 drop
Long Good Friday vibes about starting a war in Monaco.
BIG PETE
Hope it's not Gout Brendan!! I'm relatively young, started getting gout around 26 while working at a liquor store (and drinking 12 to 18 beers with a fifth of rye every day). I don't drink anymore but still get gout flairs every few years. Terrible swelling, and yeah it feels like your toe/ankle/any joint is broken and full of gravel. Had a flair that lasted a month. If your Doctor thinks your are too young, get him to test your uric acid levels anyway if he hasn't
"With the War Nerd beginning his long odyssey." I choose to misinterpret this as a secret literary message.
