PROGRESS REPORT #136

Hello everyone, welcome to the 136th progress report!

I'll start with describing the work that's been accomplished this past dev cycle, then I'll talk about the update itself, since I realize I haven't talked about it in detail in a long while. :)

Work was very straightforward, as usual. It was all about writing more of those scheduled events that happen around the house. Among those I finished writing a diary entry from Emily's diary, added one scene according to the results of the poll I held a couple weeks ago along with a repeatable version, and a couple more scenes in relation to Emily.

Actually, let's talk about the update's contents now.

Currently, there are 50 pages of side-events, meaning events that are outside of either the main story, or a quest. For comparison, 0.5 had about 15-20 pages of that kind of events, that's counting all of Eve's side-stuff after her quest. That's 9 events, with one that has 2 variants (not counting repeatable). Unlike what I did for 0.5, this time I made sure to write the repeatable version straight away. So those events should be replayable from day 1, without having to load a save or whatever, althought thanks to the upcoming gallery, watching the initial version shouldn't be a problem either.

Anyway, most of those events revolve around voyeurism and/or masturbation. That's because 1. That's an important theme in the game and there was a cruel lack of such scenes up to this point and 2. That's the main theme of Emily's story (currently) as well (along with exhibitionism). So you'll find that Alice with either be masturbating, or watching someone else masturbating, or masturbating with someone else, or... getting masturbated? Anyway, there will be a lot of that stuff.

I have one event to finish writing, then one last event to write, which is an evolution of the roommates's soap opera in the afternoon. After that, one last diary entry, some fluff like more pop-events, short TV programs, and then boomski, done.

Once that is done, it's hard to tell how long the art will take to be fully made. There are several events that I can predict could take a while, and now that I'm trying to do animation... That could be a big time sink as well. I'll try being done with it all (art and all) before summer ends, but no promises. Of course, I'll share some cool renders and animation sneak-peeks to make up for the wait, and I'll try to make myself available for art streams as much as possible!
