SimSweep v2.11.4 - Small but useful
SimSweep v2.11.4 — Small but useful
This one's mostly behind-the-scenes stuff connecting SimSweep to some new infrastructure. Not flashy, but it matters.
What's new:
The SYVR Discord server is live (Thanks to the wonderful Ellie) This is where updates, support, and dev talk will live going forward. There's a Join Discord button right in the SimSweep footer now so you can get there in one click.
Dev logs go straight to Discord — Every time I push code, it auto-posts to the #dev-logs channel. If you're a Decrypt supporter, you can literally watch development happen in real time. No waiting for me to write up a summary.
Release notifications — New versions now auto-post to #modding-news with the full changelog attached. You'll know about updates the second they drop.
Better GitHub releases — Releases now pull directly from the actual changelog instead of showing some generic "new version available" message. Small thing, but it bugged me.
simsweep.com is live — SimSweep has a proper home now. The site will always have the latest version available for download, plus I'm building out guides there. Stuff like how to use specific features, troubleshooting common CC issues, that kind of thing. More content coming soon.
On the theme update: Yeah, that didn't happen this weekend. Dad duties took priority and the weekend got away from me. Themes and the other planned stuff are still coming, just got pushed to the next cycle. Appreciate the patience. 🙏
