This chapter's kinda all over the place, so I'm honestly not sure about it. But again, problem for Future Christina, once the entire manuscript is written out and I have a better idea of the shape of the story.

Just started to read all these. The Department of Defense didn't exist in WWII - so no for "DD 1300" According to Google it was "WD AGO Form 52-1 (War Department Adjutant General's Office - Report of Death) for the U.S. Army and Army Air Forces. (Navy and Marines had something completely different.)

Ahhhhh!! The romance lives!! Thank you, Chris! Patrick and Janine are my second favorite couple, and the idea that they DID have the chance to start the relationship decades ago just makes me giddy to see!

Absolutely! Between meeting Louis and watching Janine and Patrick's relationship bloom, there's much to celebrate. Grieving Sean does put a damper on things, but I'm glad that Cyrus could let himself feel and deal with the loss. GOD, the tender moment he and Patrick shared...beautiful. Sad, but beautiful.
