Aww cute, but knowing folk lore genies started out as demons imprisoned by humans using something like a seal of Solomon (like fairy circle in cafey latte lore) and was used for magic, freeing one the demon owes a debt ie wishes if you were bad or tried to seems smarter than the demon they twist your wish, but if good and tried to help more might make your wish come out as intended like Aladdin in the movie
