Major Tier Changes (stickers, credits)

I have prided myself on keeping the prices for everything that I can control--self-published books, merch, and Patreon tiers--as low and as accessible as possible. Unfortunately, even I have to bow to larger economic pressures when they get to be too much.
First, the easy one. YouTube credits will now be $5+ (Fae Sorceress) tiers.
When I started the YouTube channel and this Patreon page, I had so few followers that I had to entice them however possible. Hence, the $1 (Witch) credit tier. Buuuuut that's no longer the case, and at this point the credits are getting longer than the video itself (which is an awesome problem to have, by the way; how many creators can say that?) So we have to make some cuts.
Secondly, and much more seriously: the monthly stickers are moving from $5 (Fae Sorceress) to a new $10 (Ghost Hunter) tier.
The reason for this is because of the expenses to make and ship stickers (plus the keychains, plus the pins) is about $3300 a month. With Patreon paying me $6k - $7k, that should be fine, right?
Buuuuuut that money is also taxable. Meaning a third of that $6k - $7kneeds to go to Uncle Sam or I end up in jail. So my takeaway this past month was only $200.
(Don't worry, I have enough in savings to tide me over well after YouTube pays me around June 20th - 25th. And merch sales have been pretty great with Pride. Still, you can see how this is not sustainable.)
If TikTok's monetization was still what it was at the beginning of 2025, this wouldn't be as big of an issue. But since they're now giving me pennies on the dollar, I have to take these necessary and unfortunate steps to protect my paycheck.
All other tiers remain unaffected. It's just the credits and stickers. The Fae Sorceress tier folks will get their June stickers this month (although with how slow USPS has been lately, you might actually get it in July; sorry), and if you're an international Fae Sorceress, then you'll get all the stickers for the months you paid for in January 2027. (Doing them in bulk like that is another cost-saving measure.)
To make up for this, I have decided I will post the rough draft of Heart of Silver on Patreon to the $2+ (Fairy) tiers.
It's gonna be a little funky, because the book is supposed to have multiple flashbacks to the American Civil War, WWII, 1953, and the '70s interspersed throughout the story. But I'm writing it chronologically to help me keep everything straight. Re: what I've written so far is the Civil War and WWII stuff. Which means it'll be posted here in that manner. (So, like, you'll get the prologue--which takes place in the modern day--about twenty chapters in, if that makes sense.)
I do want some more chapters written as a buffer before I start posting. Right now I'm taking a break from HoS to edit Monstrous, so the goal is to start posting chapters here by July. However, I can make no promises.
Thank you for your patience as we figure out this shitstorm of an economy together. Your patronage is the only reason I can continue to do this work full-time, and I do not take that for granted. I will do my best to keep prices as low as possible whenever possible in the future.

Ok, just to double check, since I had to upgrade and I had to wait for a bit to change from yearly to monthly, does the three month wait still apply in terms of stickers? And if not, may I still please have another of the amazing cafe latte stickers just so I can have more than one on my one bottle I am probably going to designate as a cafe latte bottle?
The three-month wait ONLY applies to the CaFae Latte sticker that Patreon sends. The only wait for the monthly stickers that Fiend does is if you, say, become a patron at that tier after I send them the spreadsheet for the month, which usually happens on the 5th. So, to clarify: I send Fiend the spreadsheet of all patrons getting the sticker on the 5th, paying Fiend's material, shipping, and labor expenses. If you joined on, say, the 6th, you're SOL for that month, but you'll get the next one--unless the post office fucks up again. Does that make sense?
I have NEVER gotten any of the stickers and I’ve been at the $5 level for over a year. Is this a known thing or a should I tell someone? If so who?

So I'm an international backer, and I chose to pay annually to save a bit of money. My annual comes up in May at present. The new charge is more than I want to pay yearly, and also I'd like to move it from May anyway as that's a bad time. I tried to change, but Patreon freaks out if you try and swap from yearly to monthly -- is my best bet to cancel next April, and then re-sub at the right rate monthly in May? Or try and cancel in January?
If you cancel the sub altogethsf--even if you restart it immediately after--I don't know how that'll affect the paperwork we use to track how long someone's been a patron and at what tiers. It'd PROBABLY be okay, but it depends on how much you like risk.
Okay, I recently joined specifically for the stickers (and I haven't been a member long enough to receive any stickers yet) but I paid for a year's subscription. Do I need to upgrade my subscription to get stickers still? And would my 1 year subscription get credited towards an upgraded subscription? I have no issues with upgrading, I just want to make sure I dot all my T's and cross all my I's ;)
Correct. However, Patreon won't charge you for the full upgrade; they'll subtract what you already paid from the latest transaction, if that makes sense?
I'm here to support one of my favourite creators and get some sneak peeks. Don't need my name in the credits. Being in the UK I've basically decided to not get anything outside of here and europe due to extortionate shipping costs. You are not alone in the struggle and we completely understand

You gotta do what you have to do. We can't afford to go up to the 5 dollar tier, but as long as we still get the news and sneak peeks, we're good.
Part of why I stayed at $2 was the sneak peaks and not wanting to move to $5 as the physical logistics was worth more than the $3. Now tempted to jump up to the $5 or maybe up to $9.99
Same here, I wouldn't really use the stickers anyway, I want to maximize the amount of money that goes into CMA's pocket.
Completely understandable! The only thing I'm wondering is how this affects those of us who payed yearly (and are from outside the US)
If you are international and been, say, $5 since January 2026, you will get the 6 stickers you paid for an expected to get in January 2027 But if you don't upgrade, then you won't get the July - Dec stickers. Make sense?
Understandable on the changes. I'm just waiting on my backlogged goodies. I haven't received anything and wondering if it got lost again.

Question is there a way to buy sticker images to use a tattoo? Do we go thru you or the artist? Maybe side gig or on your Kofi?
I think with that you can just take a picture of the image and show your artist. I'm not gatekeeping what you put on your body. (Considering 2 of my own tats, I'd be a major hypocrite if I did)
