What YOU the player like?

So I've always wondered about VN's. Some have (like mine) the main character in POV or 3rd person. Some have (like mine) have the character portrait-ed as "You" the player and others not, he's a character in the game that you can change his/her name.
Then some games have music throughout the game and some (like mine) only have background sounds and sex sounds for instance.
Story based or slice of life (meaning everyday life, interactions) type of story driven? I always thought choices are everything but seen many games with very little choices get lots of support. So I'm curious.
SO with this poll Id like to find out what most of you like. Not saying my next game after Alternate Existence will incorporate everything or nothing but I want to see what you all like and decide from there for my next project.

I am basically not a friend of a harem. I usually decide on a love interest and then stay with her until a good end. Incest and lesbian love are also good and interesting content for me. For example, in "TFTUV 1 and 2 there is only either Lilly or Eva for me, I played both and it was fun, although a harem is also possible. As in real life, there is only the Highlander principle for me: "There can only be one" 😊! This also includes the rejection of NTR, but of course that's just my personal opinion, everyone as they like. Incorporating different options into a game is good and important and certainly appeals to many players. I like to see the MC in the game and music is also well suited for me to effectively support the game content. Write the stories in such a way that the player enjoys them and can expect a friendly, loving ending. An example of this for me is "Returning to Mia" ("happily ever after" for example). But also "Acting Lessons", "Leap Of Faith" or "Summer's Gone" are good and high-quality stories that are told in a great way and are also emotionally touching. A not so great example for my taste is "Inside Jennifer". Technically, the game is on a high level, both in terms of render quality and voice acting. But in terms of content, Jennifer constantly has to struggle with the omnipresent "corruption". She is almost exclusively surrounded by disgusting guys who constantly want to get at her. Almost all male NPCs are horny assholes or idiots, whom she has to defend herself against at every turn, until the really bad end for me, in which this beautiful and clever woman becomes Jimmy's sex slave, broken and robbed of her free will. This is absolutely disgusting and disappointing to play. I couldn't get this picture out of my head for weeks, in which she lies naked and exhausted on the mat in this studio. Do you have to depict something like that? I think not. But of course, there are other endings to this game. I wish for exciting and captivating storytelling, beautiful, loving and pleasant courses and endings for the player, which does not exclude loss and grief. But please don't turn the beautiful ladies into sex toys of horny men. But as I said, very important: this is just my personal opinion!
Our MC isn't a chad, at least he didn't start off as one and not aiming to make him one. But the women he loves and also love him equally. He has a strength they love. AE is not a NTR game as i said and the ending I honestly will make a 'happy for all' one. You mentioned some really great games with great stories. AE's cast is massive and the story is onorthodoxed one at that. Still I want it to have 'feel' in it. As for inside Jennifer game, i've not played it but if that was the ending as you described it then it's also a no, no one. Not my bag. I am sure for many players it is/was something they loved.

I played all kinds of genres. Slice of Life/School, Taboo/Incest, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Dystopian, Pre/Post-Apocalyptic, Crime Thriller. As long as the game is fun and interesting to me, that's all that matters. The only things that I don't "REALLY" like in my AVNs are 1: I'm not a fan of VA in my AVNS... It ruins the immersion for me (I prefer to imagine and internalize the characters' voices). But it's not a deal breaker for me. I could just turn it off. 2: Porn audio during lewd scenes (especially when the quality is horrendous). 3: NTR/NTS in my AVNs (I'm a Harem player at heart). I'm not really into Sharing/Swinging or NTR-ing my LIs in my AVNs with other male characters, not even with your "best male friends/brothers." No matter how 🔥 the scenes are. No 🙅🏻♂️… Unless it's a polygynous, harem, or polyamorous relationship, which is mostly the LIs with each other, then I'll share my LIs (like Bare Witness). But to each their own, I guess 😅. Unless I'm playing a Female MC AVN (which is rare; I've only played like three or four, only because the MC was HOT). I don't really play Female MC AVNs because they're always catered to a very niche group (NTR/NTS/Corruption), and the focus is always on our Female MC in a small town/city cheating (which they always are in a relationship to start off with) or exploring their sexual side and finding themselves, thus turning our Female MC into sluts. But you kind of have to in order to get some action with her. 4: I also dislike Honey Select AVNs. Just not a fan of their models. DAZ or Blender all the way 😁. And that's pretty much it.

Would be helpful to have checkboxes as multiple ones apply, radio buttons only allow you to select a single item.
Not sure if it can be done. Patreon only gives radio buttons. But If i'm following your question then you can choose the options you like and leave the one's you dont.
