My Time and Update#6
Hi my Supporters.
... I would like to take this time to inform you all on why I do this and how much it takes.
I’ve previously shared with you all the reasons behind what I do and how I approach my work. However, I feel the need to reiterate some of this, especially since asking why updates take time, while understandable, unfortunately doesn’t speed things up.
To be completely transparent, the financial support I receive does help—there’s no denying that. That said, it isn’t enough for me to rely on this as my sole source of income. I have a full-time job, which is essential not only for me but also for my wife. After a long day at work, both of us return home and continue working—every evening and throughout the weekends. That’s simply the reality.
I dedicate around 3–4 hours each weekday evening to the game. That’s the most I can manage on a daily basis. Weekends allow me a bit more time—most of Saturday, late into the night, and much of Sunday. Of course, in between, I still need rest and time with my wife. I love creating these games—it’s a genuine passion—but at times, the workload does become overwhelming.
I want to make it clear: I am not dragging my feet with these updates. I am actively working on them. What’s changed is the complexity. Earlier in development—both in this project and the previous one—there was far less character development and story depth. As the game has grown, so has the scope of each update. That’s why file sizes have increased, and it’s also why more time is needed. I don’t want to rush through character arcs or skim over the content you’ve supported and asked for.
Where updates once took around 3 months to complete, they now often take 4 to even 6 months. Ideally, I aim to complete an update in about 4 months—this feels manageable while still allowing me to deliver the quality I’m proud of.
So, to put it plainly—I am working on the game every night and weekend. I’m pushing forward consistently, but I also refuse to rush and compromise the final product. I appreciate your patience and continued support—not only of me but also of the incredible team that helps with testing, coding, and proofreading during the final stages.
With all that was said above here's where we are.
3100 - lines of code/dialogue (more to come)
877 - images (way more to come)
60 - animations (a bit more to come)
I only have 2.5 more Scenes I have to setup and render.

I've enjoyed your amazing vn's for several years now. 2, 3 or 4 months between content updates, with real content, is better than more updates with negligible content. Like some creators that brag about 25 minutes of new content monthly. Maybe not being a slave to subscribers is a good thing. Please keep doing what you do!
All good and all understandable 👍🏻! I like to let my Devs go at their own pace and do their own thing. I'm just chilling, enjoying life as it goes 😁. Life carries on. I always believe that RL, Family, Health, and Happiness should always be top priorities for our Devs over the game. Thanks to the years of being an AVN patron and supporting many Devs, I have developed godlike patience for my AVNs. AVN Devs really deserve more love and appreciation for their hard/enduring work and the things they put up with and go through just to give us their game! Truly made me appreciate them a lot more. Take your time working on and perfecting this game. We all know it'll be worth the wait! Plus, I have many Devs to keep me occupied in the meanwhile (perks of supporting many 😉). Thanks for the update, MrK! Keep on keeping on 😉!!! ALWAYS EXCITED AND EAGERLY WAITING 🙌🏻🔥!!! Whether you're surviving in this HOT Summer 😎🌞🏖🔥 (it's finally cooling down for me 😅) or in the Cold Winter 🥶❄⛄🧊 (my Southern Hemisphere people). Always stay hydrated, everyone. Stay safe, stay blessed, and in PERFECT health, everyone! Have an amazing and beautiful week! I'll catch you all—ON THE NEXT ONE ✌🏻😁!!!
I agree with what balboa2151 said. You have always kept us upto date with the update news and about any progress. At the same time, your updates are meaningful and great. This means to maintain quality if you need more time so be it. Family is priority regardless of what we do in life and you certainly don't need to apologise for it. But your message is appreciated nonetheless. We appreciate your efforts and your open communication style. Thanks for great updates and don't forget to take care of yourself and your family.
Your game is amazing, I think people forget that devs have a life as well, if taking 4 months for every update helps you to manage your personal life so be it, don’t apologize for that, spending time with your wife is important, you don’t want to neglect your wife and then have marital problems, and I don’t think anyone would want you to rush the game updates and put out a poor product, and every four months isn’t that bad, I just played a game that wasn’t updated since last august, it’s just my opinion but I think your game is so good that people don’t mind, thanks for all your hard work and fantastic game ❤️
