Meredith's New Look | NSFW'ish Teaser

Hey Patrons!

You might have noticed in the reveal for Zombie's Retreat 2 - v1.0 that Meredith had a new look.

It's become somewhat of a tradition to revisit some of the original characters and give them a refresh when the game is near completion. In this case, only Meredith has been adjusted as artwork is currently prioritizing to other things (v1.0 spoilers, so I can't say much!)

With this refreshed look, the goal was to keep Meredith's shy & kind personality in tact while adding a bit more natural seduction. And of course, the lead artist for ZR2's style has grown so much over the years, it's a fun opportunity to flex those improved talents and skills!

I want to address two very important things...

1 - For Meredith's default outfit, her nipples may not be visible in the final appearance. This updated design has a few layers that can be customized so I'm still trying to settle on smaller details. I want to clarify that in case they aren't visible (or as visible) when v1.0 releases.

2 - With an art 'refresh', it's impossible to have everyone like the new design. So I've grown quite weary sharing these updates as it tends to just spur up divisive opinions.

For players that prefer Meredith's original look, I am exploring possible ways to keep her "retro" design as a customizable option. I can't promise that I'll find a solution that I'm happy with but it is something I'd like to further explore when costume functionality is properly looked at.

Progress on v1.0 is moving along well! I'll be sharing some more updates soon on new features as well as release date plans so stay tuned.
