Progress Report | Building Toward v1.0
Hey everyone!
Happy May! Today I wanted to just talk about the overall progress of v1.0 as well as share my thoughts on the release date and content that you can expect.
== v1.0 Content ==
If you missed the initial announcement, the upcoming v1.0 update will focus primarily on finishing the main storyline! For those who are interested in ZR2's story, I hope this update provides an intense and satisfying conclusion to the events in Crimson City!
But there are also other goals that I have in mind for this update including the following:
Additional sidequest(s)
Hardcore mode (a harder, more punishing difficulty)
New facility
Whatever my brain decides to fixate on in any given day
I want to remind everyone that v1.0 is NOT the final update for ZR2! I still have a number of ideas that I want to implement that will require their own dedicated updates. For example, I don't intend to have all facilities completed just yet. My focus is centered around making sure the main story has a proper start and finish.
Currently, there are 2 new NSFW scenes that will be added to v1.0. Depending on how long development takes, more scenes could be added. There will be several more NSFW scenes coming in future updates too. I have some ideas that I'm very excited to work on once v1.0 is complete!
== Release Window ==
Ideally, I'd love to release v1.0 later this month! And at the time of writing this, it still feels like a tangible goal.
But, realistically I'm sure development will require a bit more time. So I can also see this update releasing in June. As the update continues to progress, I hope to have a more accurate release date announcement coming later this month so stay tuned!
As development continues, I plan to keep sharing more progress reports so stay tuned for those. I can't share too much however, because I don't want to spoil any major secrets or surprises!

Don’t know if this has been addressed elsewhere, but are you planning to include pregnancy stuff eventually? It was a little disappointing how in the first game there were hints of that being a thing but it was never followed up on, so since there are already hints of it in ZR2 as well, are you planning to follow through this time?
