Podcast 22: What's going on with the Gas-led Sh*tf*ckery | Lock the Gate
Dear Patrons
Here's the podcast companion for our latest Honest Government Ad - which has done extremely well for a topic that most people had never heard about (my favourite kind of HGA to make): in its first week, it's collected over a million views across our pages.
But I wanted to follow this HGA up with a podcast that would offer people a more detailed picture of what the Government's Covid "gas-led recovery" looks like.
And I couldn't think of a better person to help us paint that picture, than my guest for this podcast, Naomi Hoges - national ccordinator from the Lock The Gate Alliance.
I asked Naomi to take us on a trip around Australia to the gas hotspots - from Queensland and NSW to the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Victoria - so that we can get a clear overview of the sheer scale and shitfaced boldness of this Government's plans to open up Australia to massive new offshore, onshore, coal-seam gas and fracking projects - all of which are awaiting taxpayer funding and government approval.
Most importantly, in each place, Naomi tells us about the community intitiatives that you can join in order to stop this insanity.
So if you're confused about what the "gas-led recovery" looks like on the ground, in your local area, this podcast provides a concise and up to date summary.
Oh and it also includes a very special guest - a former employee of the Bureau of Meteorology, turned whistleblower. This is their first ever public interview.
This is a really important podcast in terms of the information in contains. Which is why we put extra time and energy into editing to make it easier for people to follow and understand.
And I want to give a special thanks to Ellen, who edited most of it. With the growth in our monthly Patreon support, I am now able to pay Ellen to do more of this work, which is really a huge help for me. So, thank you Patrons!
Ok, it's late and I'd better send this off now!
I'll catch you soon for our next Honest Government Ad.
Until then, take care. Especially if you're in NSW <3

That was great and very informative. There are also bipartisan taboo themes though. Much reported, including Ed Snowden "Topic of this year - Pegasus", is disclosure of continuous over time surveillance ability of all smart-phones of all conversations and pin-point location-accuracy even when phone is turned off. Therefore, certainly many governments (certainly of Israel and the US) know EXACTLY and for ALL Epstein's associates and "guests" -- who, when, where, how long, and why they were with pedophile Epstein !! Yet we still don't know, after all this time, for example, even what Epstein's multiple passports show. As courageous Eric Weinstein stated -- Epstein was "a construct" - by one or more intelligence services.
More proof that we live in a Sociopathocracy. Government by sociopaths for sociopaths.
Coal Seam Industry Research Organisation and Bureau Of Minerology Really appalling state of affairs
My jaw dropped upon hearing all the specifics covered in these interviews. I feel so discouraged, but also furious, that our so-called “leaders” in this world are a bunch of gass’holes. They don’t give an at’s rass about the havoc they’re wreaking on this planet. Shitwits!
Same Mark!
Bravo Giordano, Ellen, Naomi and Stephen. That the Australian Government is leading the charge to gaslight the population and the world in this cynical and diabolical grab for filthy lucre at the expense of LIFE, is unconscionable and almost inconceivable. You’re to be mighty applauded for this concise expose of what is essentially lunacy and at worst, a concerted crime against the planet. Keep pursuing this please JM. Four Corners? The world must know.
Thanks Sandra X
