[PREVIEW] Coronavirus | Honest Government Ad
Dear Patrons
I wasn't planning to make an Honest Government Ad about the Corona virus; I was already working on something else....
But a few days ago it became glaringly obvious that I needed to make this video...
Because it's a shitshow.
The Juice Media has a large audience now and perhaps that's why I feel a sense of responsibility to use this platform to amplify important messages in times of need.
And the message that urgently requires amplifying right now is the need to "Flatten the Curve", to ensure our hospitals and healthcare staff can cope with the pressure of the first wave of contagion.
It's an unusual Honest Government Ad: we take a break from counting the ways our Government is shit*, in order to focus on providing a public service announcement of sorts.
* (I made an exception for the US Government, whose response to the Corona virus outbreak has provided a model for all other countries not to follow)
As always, you're the first to hear the preview - so your feedback is very welcomed.
Oh and I am taking suggestions for the "Authorised by" message at the end, so please send me your good ideas (Special points for freshness and originality)

So much goodness in this vid. And the wonderful circular hypocrisy of teaching kids to become scientists who the government will then ignore. Priceless. One criticism, though. I doubt that any of Rupert's papers could absorb more shit than they already carry.

Dear Team, thank you for a formidable Cover-19 video. I love it so much I became a Patreon in a second. I do think "Flatten the Curve" is the key message all needs to be clear about, and as such it would be a significant benefit to all if you could produce a sequel with that focus.

Suggestion...would be great if you could include somewhere that experts state that the virus also spreads through the air from infected ppl with zero symptoms...ie. just being next to someone breathing the virus (especially in a confined indoor space) can result in transmission. Check Joe Rogan Experience #1439 on YouTube for the interview with infectious disease expert....seriously pls check it out, a real eye opener. Love your work.

apologies, that probably wasn't helpful. this whole thing has made me rather upset for quite a few different reasons. Definitely most of all the bigger picture, but also personally I've been 4,000 miles away from my wife the past 18 months, was hoping this bullshit would end soon, but looming travel restrictions and all of the uncertainty with this have made me.......a bit more bitter than usual in addition to the crisis overal
it might be too late to add it, but the US government giving handouts to fossil fuel industries, airlines, hotels, etc but completely unable to afford testing OR the recent bill that would have given workers time off is mind-boggleing. (NPR yesterday, immediately after announcing the handout to corporations, interviewed a lawmaker who supported the bill and the first question was "how are you going to pay for it??") great episode! can't wait to see and share it--thanks ❤️

Its very clear when our govt. put coal over climate change or screw t Timorese, welfare recipients, indigenous n just about everyone else n need to be shown up for there f’&@kry; however, with t c-virus they might b a bit slow to act but they’re trying to do smething n need a bit of slack.

Check out Vietnam's response. They are the only country that knows how to manage this virus because that is where the Louis Pasteur Institute of tropical Diseases is. They shut their borders immediately. I don't know why epidemiologists aren't being listened to but doctors. Vietnam has 97 mil people and 29 cases of Corona virus.
