The Holy Spirit led me away from anything to do with that museum. I've never visited, but saw some videos online. I thought something was terribly wrong with the teaching. And yes, the selling of the so called 1611's with all of the different versions and cover styles now. There's some sort of gnostic teaching creeping in there and a spirit of divination. (I may be wrong but I think he teaches a rapture/"translation" and that the apocrypha is "inspired.") I praise God for finding Reg and John's teachings and the true 1611!! (thank you for bringing this up Ellen!)
Yes for sure he's using words like mystical and "phenomenon" that is when my radar started beeping. Charlatan!
Thk you so much Reg, for posting this, & Ellen, I can confirm, you are spot on about the 1611 KJ Bible museum. Been there, done that, be aware, It's the 1st printing only of the 1611 KJV. Blessings 🙏 Bryan
Agreed, AMEN Brother!
I almost bought a 1611 AKJB (from the 1611 King James Bible Museum - horrible horrible I later discovered that person at the museum is a charlatan) that was promoted as being a correctly indicated "He" Bible (as a result, I'm now tuned into this clever and false "marketing" tactic). I emailed the KJV store to ask what does 2:7 in Solomon say? (because all it was promoting was the He in Ruth 3:15)- this is the response : The well-known “He” and “She” distinction refers specifically to Ruth 3:15, not Song of Solomon 2:7. In the “He” edition, Ruth 3:15 reads, “he went into the city”; the later “She” printing reads, “she went into the city.” Therefore, this facsimile is the “He” edition. In Song of Solomon 2:7, it does not use “he” or “she” in that particular wording; it reads in the original 1611 spelling: “I charge you, O ye daughters of Ierusalem, by the Roes, and by the Hindes of the field, that ye stirre not vp, nor awake my loue, till he please.” Because this edition is reproduced directly from original 1611 pages, it retains the original Gothic typeface and historic spelling throughout. (I replied and said I would not be purchasing it as it is till she please and in the context he makes no sense as the queen is a she and I directed him to John's video 1611 The True Bible) I hope the Holy Spirit compels him to watch it and convicts him to stop supporting this book!
They seem like minor changes, but they entirely alter the meaning. As scripture reads, "a little leauen leaueneth the whole lumpe"
