Hi Calvin, Luke 11:50-51 (the Jews' killing of all the prophets from Abel onward) appears to be fulfilled in 70 A.D. Josephus said there is no more brutal and violent slaughter reported in any historical records of which he was aware. Apparently, during the siege people were eating their children and when the Roman armies descend on the city the ditches filled with blood as high as a horse's bridle.
average pony height....thats about 4 and a half ft. thats a lot of blood.
Thank You, this is such a vital lesson for those seeking Truth. Aside from knowing that Christ fulfilled The Law, Prophets, and Psalms (Matthew 5:17, Luke 24:44), is it viable that the context of Daniel 9 could also be referring to The Covenant of Abraham being Confirmed by The Blood of Christ in the midst of the seventieth week? (Daniel 9:4, Luke 1:72-73) and that the desolations determined were brought on by the unbelieving Jews (the people of the (capitalized) Prince, with Messiah the Prince being mentioned in the previous verse, Daniel 9:25), leading to their destruction at the hands of the armies of Titus?....Hosea 13:9- O Israel, thou hast destroied thy selfe, but in me is thine helpe.... I was just curious, Thank You again. The Lord kept His Promises through a Temple not made with hands and a Circumcision made Without Hands. His Promise, His Work, His Blood. The reconciled sheep reap the benefits through The Work of their Perfect Shepherd.
This message was most valuable. Thank you. I really appreciate your mini presentations Reg. Always have and look forward to them. You could speak for hours and I would listen. This information is not coming from anywhere else. The desecration I had assumed was historical and now a fulfillment of prophecy.
Hi Elsie, There comes a point when one has to decide who they are going to believe. Do we believe 47 of the best biblical scholars in the world (translators of the 1611), authorized by the King of England, or do we believe some local jesuit-seminary-trained pastor with no ability to converse in ancient Hebrew or Koine Greek, but simply repeats things he's heard. I personally sorted that one out long ago.
for-sure @reg, its just terrible to hear someone else say the same, and then watch them fall into the most terrible traps.
cont... on the questions i asked about the removal of Pilcrows-symbols and the potential havoc that may cause... the reason im making some point on this, is because i remember a while ago, a pastor (who read the 1769 kjv), made mention of the Pilcrows-symbols, and had issue with them, saying something like "this section should not end here", or, "this is not part of the same chapter, they are not talking about the same things". and this did affect doctrine, but i don't remember what video (specifically). all i remember is, that it opened horrendous doors and allowed for grand maneuvers, which ended up with him disbelieving in eternal hell. he has since seemingly departed from the faith, speaking the doctrines of devils ("Ye shall not surely die"). a poor man, as he was once so strongly advocating for the 1769 kjv, only to later tear it apart at every sentence, and plastering yellow tape and new-words (or greek) over the 1769 kjv.. (i had contacted him about the 1611, but i got the usual back..."1769 is standardized and better")... :( he is kept in my prayers along with all the people he is leading astray. i fled very fast, i believe that God used this man's ministry to show me the dangers of editing God's word, and also the dangers of dispensationalism and other hackings. a giant snowball starting from one change, which tracked over years. grew and grew and grew into what he preaches today (and his published book, which i burned also...as he also said, "prove all things..."). seems to be of the same circles that has timelines+crazy mathematics in the middle to make 1 doctrine (that spawn many) that all mysteriously fit the modern/vatican-approved vague-but-not-vague unbiblical ideas. very much coalescing around third temples, raptures, confusions about israel, the elect. it all began with, "did God really say?" . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7ztvwmQrKE . https://rodney.fm/soa/ (newest to oldest) . https://rodney.fm/soa-2023/ (also)
so that others dont overly-invest: the video-series is very longwinded, spanning several years of discussion and debate. i would also suggest that those who are unsettled in the word, or new to the faith, not to view it.
is this the word u guys was saying? (american accents!!!) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilcrow when i had first seen, i thought they was numbers. --- are there any places in the bible that you guys know of, where things are made to be more complicated/confused, or doctrines altered, because of the Pilcrow symbol removal? (i doubt they would be re-arranged, but definitely i know they are removed entirely in some bibles/formats). with their importance to generate clarity, i can only imagine the amount of issues this might create. i think if there is a list, it would be good examples to help witness to people. i am reminded of the verse in Acts 2:38 which has a very small change with the comma also (re: separations or structuring of thoughts/paragraphs). i will let u guys know if i myself am able to find/see any like these, with the Pilcrows. --- i am also reminded of Psalm 119:105 Proverbs 4:26 (which also re: ongoing spellings tracking... is feete, and feet)
Hey Elsie, it does cause issues that can affect and/or confuse doctrine much like commas that are moved or removed. (Pilcrows and all punctuation marks are the "title" Jesus referred to).
john 12:3, philippians 4:18 made me smile today
Hi Hillis, We will continue this study next week, as it wouldn't be complete without discussing 2 Thessalonians 2.
AMEN! Sharing this for those who want truth!
