Message/Sermon on the real 1611 King James Bible

I gave this message several years ago at Transformation Ministries in Georgia. After this, the pastor purchased enough 1611 Bibles for everyone in the church. Needless to say, I was excited. But shortly thereafter he divorced his wife for no biblical reason. I called him on it, and I was shunned. I'm guessing they went back to their KJV 1769. In retrospect it looks like he may have been having an affair with some woman who he later married.

Names being blotted out of the book of Life suggest that OSAS is false.

Hi Roy, Your comment (and scripture quotes) is a stern reminder of the requirements for leadership in the church. Many pastors and their congregations overlook these ever-important tenets.

Hi Calvin. Jesus put his faith in certain men. He said to the Pharisees, if you believed Moses you would have believed me. ( I paraphrase) John 5:46. I have found the IFBers to be the greatest of all hypocrites.

A great witness to the fruit of John Doerr . . . and he . . and you Reg . . have many many witnesses to your fruit . . . .which is the fruit of the Authorized King James and all involved with its creation and dissemination . Matthew 7:16-20 16Yee shall knowe them by their fruits: Doe men gather grapes of thornes, or figges of thistles? 17Euen so, euery good tree bringeth forth good fruit: but a corrupt tree bringeth forth euill fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth euil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. [Can corrupt Bible translations bring forth good fruit?] 19Euery tree that bringeth not forth good fruit, is hewen downe, and cast into the fire. 20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Side Note - There is a theory that the Great Library of Alexandria was emptied and taken to Rome . . and ultimately the Vatican . . prior to the fire that destroyed the buildings. So that Rome would be the center of now "secret" knowledge. You can see the Alexandrian/Gnostic mindset to this very day as you mention. . so this theory is plausible to me. Perhaps Rome thought it had collected all of the original Bible manuscripts into Alexandria and that nothing else would survive going forward. This didnt happen of course. Second Side Note - I was raised in a lukewarm Presbyterian Church environment. . . . but attended an Episcopalian HS where we had clergy in Roman Priest collars . . who taught a Catechism . . performed the Eucharist . . . Ugh! All while pretending that they separated from Rome in the 16th Century. I almost get physically sick when I think about all of the rites and rituals they marched the boys through which I know now to be, in essence, Babylonian. Could not have been a more spiritually dead experience. The only thing missing was Mary worship . . which was probably there somewhere, but I just don't remember. The Church of England was no friend to English Reformed Protestants and, in the latter 17th and 18th centuries, required minsters of the latter to take an Oath of Supremacy to the leader of the Church of England . . which many Non-conformist ministers (Matthew Henry among them) would not do. When I think of the current "Noahide Law" and Hebrew Roots movements . . and the rise of false Christian nationalism tied to Zionism . . I wonder if a required oath to one Government sanctioned religious leader is in the works. They wouldn't be so arrogant as to make that person be the Pope would they?

Another important point made here by Reg. . . for all who wish to apply . . Paul set forward the job requirements 1 Timothy 3:4-5 1This is a true saying: If a man desire the office of a Bishop, he desireth a good worke. 2A Bishop then must be blamelesse, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behauiour, giuen to hospitalitie, apt to teach; 3Not giuen to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre, but patient, not a brawler, not couetous; 4One that ruleth well his owne house, hauing his children in subiection with all grauitie. 5(For if a man know not how to rule his owne house, how shall he take care of the Church of God?) 6Not a nouice, lest being lifted vp with pride, hee fall into the condemnation of the deuill. 7Moreouer, hee must haue a good report of them which are without, lest he fall into reproch, and the snare of the deuill. " . . if these are not the standards church leaders hold themselves to . . what are we doing here? Practice what is preached. "Apt to teach" is another important one. Reg has hit on this many times. If you are not a good teacher . . step aside and let another one do it who is. We all teach others by behavior that shows our understanding but a church leader needs to have higher level ability to communicate the Word . . Reg is a great example of this. A "pastor" who embraces the Auth 1611 then leaves his wife and rejects it is the opposite.

Once, when trying to explain this topic, which includes the conviction of the translators, to an institutionalized IFB, Scofield KJV 1769 believing congregant, I was immediately hit with "Oh, so you put your faith in men!". I knew I hit a wall at that point and there was no removing the veil of Strong Delusion which he was blinded by, yet his pastor proudly proclaims "I stick with the Scofield, because when I was younger, Oliver B. Greene recommended it"....(With that response, who, then I ask, is really placing their faith in the creation above The Creator?) I had no choice but to walk away.

Praise God, thx for reposting this sermon, a quick baseball analogy, this was a grand-slam in the Spirit realm. This whole topic/discussion of the 1611 1st print KJV is way more sobering than it might appear. One man's name could be blotted out of the book if Life, (is a possibility), for rejecting God's holy word. Jeremiah 23:30, 1 scripture, out of many concerning this. ( p.s. I'm growing in my understanding of proper capitalizations etcc.). I believe Jeremiah 23:3, is going on now .
