ANTICHRIST, THE SMOKE OF ROME
I'm posting this pdf for Kris's benefit. This is a good place to start answering her statement on Antichrist. I have studied this subject thoroughly from the perspective of scripture, what the church taught until the mid-1800s and other historical evidences. I have received excellent reviews from pastors and men with degrees in church history. One pastor wrote me saying, this is the best book on this subject written in over 100 years. After you have read this book, Kris, I will be happy to discuss the topic with you. It's a good place to start, considering the number of issues you have raised.

Ahh . . this topic is right up my alley . . and there USED to be hundreds of books on it . . from 17th-19th century. Good luck finding them now (some on Archive.Org) . . except for yours Reg . . thank you! One word of caution when researching Antichrist Rome. Don't allow the anger/disgust/hatred of/bitterness toward the Antichrist worldly Beast system as it is revealed to you by the Holy Spirit . . don't let it wear you out and destroy your love for Our Lord and people around you. . . . . take some solace in these verses: Isaiah 47:8-15 Therefore heare now this, thou that art giuen to pleasures, that dwellest carelesly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else besides mee, I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the losse of children. [MOTHER OF HARLOTS Revelation 17:5] 9But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day; the losse of children, and widowhood; they shall come vpon thee in their perfection, for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine inchantments. 10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickednesse: thou hast said, None seeth me. What seems most interesting to me is that there are quotes from historical Christian thinkers extant in the first few hundred years of the spread of the Gospel, which confirms to me that our understanding of the words of God are not an invention of Reformers five hundred years ago, but has been in the minds of many Christian people from the very beginning. It shows how the churches outside the authority of the Apostate Pope, including the early Celtic Church, the churches in Gaul, and in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms would have all been influenced by these Christian thinkers and would have looked out for signs of antichrist, out of belief in the words of God. This is very important to show that the Holy Spirit has continued to guide the Church in the same Spirit of unity, yolked in the Word, vigilant in the night, lest the Thief come and snatch away the Woman and turn her into a Whore.
1 John 2:18-19 ......................................................................................... "18 Little children, it is the last time: and as yee haue heard that Antichrist shall come, euen now are there many Antichrists, whereby wee know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from vs, but they were not of vs: for if they had beene of vs, they would no doubt haue continued with vs: but they went out that they might be made manifest, that they were not all of vs." Apostle John wrote about them well before the Reformation!

Hi Terence, Oddly enough if one is not born again and filled with the Holy Ghost and serving Christ, as should be evident, then they serve Rome. There is no grey area.

Just finished reading "Antichrist The Smoke of Rome" 3 days ago, real history accurately recorded = Biblical prophecy fulfilled!
Let's not forget their yearly celebrations of Roman Catholic Masses (Christ-mass & Easter).
I have the same problem. The most stubborn, I find, are the institutional church people with their Jesuit dispensationalism.
The institutional culture meeting every Sunday in their Caesar rendered 501c3 buildings, carrying books based off of Vatican manuscripts, uniting under one man teaching Jesuit rooted doctrine. Sounds like Rome to me.
This one is an eye opener. But most don't want to hear it. Someone told me they do not serve Rome but everything they believe and do says otherwise. Again they did not want to know. So you try to explain but they are afraid you are right so block their ears.
